Scott graduated from Faith Lutheran High School; upon graduation, he attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. At Morehouse College, Scott studied Business Administration and dedicated himself to academic excellence. As a result of his excellent grades, Scott was selected to represent Morehouse College with a small group of top business students at various Fortune 500 companies in Casablanca, Morocco; Istanbul, Turkey; and Paris, France. In 2011, Scott graduated at the top of his class with numerous awards for his academic success including Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors. Upon graduating from Morehouse College, Scott was determined to give back and inspire others to pursue educational excellence because of the great benefit that it brought to his life. In pursuit of this ideal, Scott applied and was accepted into Teach for America, an organization dedicated to ending the educational “achievement gap” by sending high achieving college graduates into America’s most needy schools to improve them. Scott taught High School Algebra I/II and Special Education in Phoenix to complete his Teach for America commitment. While teaching, Scott saw the importance of legal knowledge because of how it impacted the education system, his students, and, ultimately, the happiness and success that citizens in our society could achieve in life. Thus, upon successful completion of his Teach for America commitment, Scott was accepted to the William S. Boyd School of Law, where he was awarded a Public Interest Scholarship for his academic excellence and demonstrated commitment to public service.
