Rene was born and raised in Colorado. She received her undergraduate degree from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York and then moved back to Denver to attend law school. Rene received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law and is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado.Rene is a lawyer specializing in helping her clients through the various steps of their legal needs, taking a holistic approach to each unique client. Rene practices in all areas of family law, including divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities or custody, modification of parenting time, protection orders, and child support. Rene also provides estate planning and management for her clients, including wills, probate, guardianships, and conservatorships.With extensive experience in litigation, Rene maintains an active practice in various areas of civil litigation including breach of contract disputes and landlord/tenant disputes.

Joe’s practice has focused on high-conflict and complex divorce, parental responsibilities (custody), child relocation, and child support matters. His attention to family goes beyond the law and follows him to soccer fields and basketball courts where he coaches his daughter's teams. He teaches discipline, the benefit of hard work, and teamwork which are required to succeed whether it's a game or family law case. By setting both short and long term goals, he helps his players and clients alike fulfill their wants and needs to meet their goals and put them in the best long term position. Joe stands out at assisting clients through the family law process by helping them make reasonable decisions to protect their finances, and most importantly, maintain and foster positive relationships with their children.

Ms. Caton began her career as an assistant district attorney. In that role, she tried numerous misdemeanor and felony cases to judge and jury. After leaving the District Attorneys Office, Ms. Caton distinguished herself in both public service and private practice of law.
