Justin Watkins is an AV Preeminent rated litigator and the Managing Partner of Battle Born Injury Lawyers. Justin received his civil engineering degree from Oregon State University and his law degree from the University of San Diego. Justin has been named as one of the top 150 lawyers in southern Nevada each year from 2009 through 2018 by Nevada Business Journal, SuperLawyers Rising Start from 2010-2013, and a Mountain States SuperLawyer each year from 2014 through 2019. Justin has received a perfect 10.0 rating with Avvo, and its 2014 Client Choice Award for personal injury practice. Mr. Watkins is highly sought after for his lectures and presentations related to his law practice and his political experiences. His lectures and supporting materials are used by national organizations, such as the National Business Institute and National Association of Residential Property Managers, as well as the State Bar of Nevada. Mr. Watkins has been appointed by the Nevada Supreme Court as a mediator and arbitrator for Clark County’s Court Annexed Arbitration Program and has been appointed by Clark County Justice Court to serve as a Small Claims Referee. His pro bono service includes his participation as a mediator and arbitrator for the State Bar of Nevada’s Fee Dispute Committee. In 2016, Justin was elected to the Nevada Assembly from District 35, and served on committees for Judiciary, Natural Resources, and Transportation. A Nevada-native, Justin is an avid outdoorsman, having grown up hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, and recreating throughout Nevada and the West. He serves as Chairman of the Board for the Nevada Conservation League.

Lauren Watkins is originally from Columbia, South Carolina, and proud to be a Gamecock! She received her B.A. in Business Administration from Columbia College. Lauren moved to Charlotte in August of 2012 to pursue her law degree, which she received in 2015, graduating cum laude. Lauren is a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, a founding member of the school’s Innocence Alliance, and a member of the Order of the Crown, the law school’s academic honors society. In 2015, Lauren was admitted to the North Carolina Bar. Lauren is a current member of the North Carolina State Bar and the Mecklenburg County Bar Association. Lauren has always had a passion for serving the underserved and hopes to bring that passion to Epperson Law Group. She brings enthusiasm to the courtroom and fights vigorously for her clients. Lauren is married and has a young son. She enjoys traveling, antiquing, spending time with her family and friends, and indulging in her husband’s comic book interests.

Joshua H. Watson is a dyed-in-the-wool plaintiff’s lawyer. He takes delight in fighting for the rights and needs of real people against corporations and governments. His accomplishments include multiple seven-figure results. His professional pride comes from righting wrongs and, in the process, helping to restore the dignity and financial security of his clients and their families. Mr. Watson studied law at UC Hastings in San Francisco and graduated with multiple honors, including Public Interest Law, Community Economic Development, Public Service, a Faculty Scholarship, and high academic rankings. Before law school, he studied social sciences, technology management, and the natural sciences. His broad experience before the law includes running a business, programming internet and business computer applications, engaging in progressive community organizing, teaching, and consulting. Mr. Watson brings his experience and training to bear on each of his cases. He focuses on understanding clients’ and adversaries’ goals and seeks to use litigation to resolve root problems to address his clients’ real-world needs. At times, this may be the restoration of a job, or a tough injunction forbidding harmful or hateful conduct. At other times, it may be the zealous pursuit of a fair measure of monetary damages. In each case, Mr. Watson seeks the best outcome, putting the client first.
