Fascinated by the ‘mind behind the mask', Attorney Adam Akeel has been an avid student of psychology since 2011. This lifelong study has provided Adam with a unique advantage as a litigator. In 2016, Adam joined Akeel & Valentine, PLC to fight for the greater good alongside his father. Since joining, Adam has been heavily involved in all aspects of litigation. Adam has a passion for research and writing and has authored countless briefs on unique legal issues in State and Federal courts throughout the country-including several briefs before the United States Supreme Court. Adam's goal is to win on paper. His legal writing has resulted in many favorable outcomes against institutions, municipalities, and fortune 100 and 500 companies. A deep legal thinker, he has an innate ability to digest and understand large bodies of case law relating to unique and complex legal issues. Awarded the first of its kind accolade as an "Intellectually Curious Genius" by his law school, Adam's creativity is seen throughout his writing, much of which has been borrowed by State and Federal judges in the drafting of their judicial decisions. Adam is also experienced in litigating class and collective actions throughout the country. In the early stages of his career, Adam litigated cases against large corporations, universities, and municipalities for civil rights and constitutional violations. Now, much of Adam's time is spent litigating large nationwide cases against the insurance and pharmaceutical industries for their anticompetitive and fraudulent conduct. In his down time, Adam likes to read books on psychology, philosophy, business, and history.

A seasoned law teacher of many years. Taught law courses in two leading Faculties of Laws of two great Universities in Nigeria before relocating to the USA. Taught law courses at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria between 1991 and 2000 and University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria from 2000 to 2006 and supervised the project works of over 500 students both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Presently helping clients with their immigration cases and have helped over 1000 to obtain permanent resident cards in the USA. Some of them are now citizens of the USA.

Theodore Alatsas, Esq. was born the child of Greek immigrants in the early 1970s. Growing up in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, Theodore learned the importance of hard work and dedication to his community at an early age. As an exemplary student and community activist, Theodore often volunteered his time to help those who needed it. Theodore attended Brooklyn Technical High School, New York University and St. John? s University School of Law. During his early 20s, Theodore worked his way through college and law school, while at the same time actively participating and leading various civic organizations. Among these organizations are the Avenue U Merchants? Association, Citizens for Neighborhood Action, Change NY, and the Joint Council of Kings County Boards of Trade. Theodore?s community involvement was recognized in New York Newsday, the Bay News and various other community papers. After graduating law school, Theodore began the practice of law in the same location where his parents owned a Greek deli. Over the years, his areas of practice have become more specialized, focusing primarily on the practice of divorce & family law. His knowledge and experience as a neighborhood practitioner, has uniquely qualified him to handle a matter not only from a legal perspective, but with a compassion designed to guide the client through the process as smoothly and as stress-free as possible. Theodore remains active in his community, and has been nominated as a candidate for various public offices, including Brooklyn District Attorney and Brooklyn Borough President, and served as a member of the Public Service Commission Siting Board after having been appointed to the position by Governor Pataki. Theodore resides in Brooklyn with his wife and daughter. He is also fluent in Greek and Spanish.
