From an early age, Ethan was inspired to pursue a career in law by his family, particularly his grandfather Henry, who started the firm in the early 1970s. Henry’s dedication to fairness and justice left a lasting impression on Ethan and inspired him to advocate for those same principles in his community. Ethan has seen firsthand that the legal field presents complex challenges that require thoughtful problem-solving and a deep understanding of multiple perspectives—an aspect of the profession that has always appealed to him. More than anything, he is committed to helping individuals navigate a system that can often feel overwhelming and unjust. Whether advocating for clients who have been wrongfully charged or ensuring other clients’ rights are protected, he is passionate about making a meaningful impact, one case at a time. Ethan graduated from Clemson University, majoring in finance and minoring in accounting, and then obtained his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. While there, he was a member of the national mock trial team, a mentor for incoming students, a teacher’s aide for oral advocacy, and an advocate for the Criminal Law Association and Jewish Lawyers Association, along with being a Rule 19-220 student attorney for the Innocence Project Clinic. During his first year, Ethan interned for the Honorable Jeannie J. Hong, associate judge for the criminal division, 8th Judicial Circuit, at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. During his time there, he gained firsthand experience with complex criminal cases and developed a deep understanding of the nuances of trial advocacy. What Ethan loves most about being an attorney is the ability to form genuine connections with his clients. Guiding them through some of the most difficult moments of their lives and fighting to ensure they are treated fairly is both an honor and a responsibility that he takes seriously. Seeing the tangible difference his work makes in their lives is the most rewarding aspect of his career. Ethan is more than grateful to be part of a firm that values both professionalism and a strong sense of community. Here at the Greenberg Law Offices, we approach every case with the same care and dedication as if we were advocating for our family. Beyond our commitment to our clients, our office culture is warm and inviting—often made even better by the presence of our beloved office pets. Their occasional distractions are outweighed by the joy and levity they bring to our workdays, making our firm a truly special place to practice law.
