J C Johnson serves as outside counsel and litigation defense counsel for numerous companies in the real estate, insurance, trucking, transportation, retail, restaurant, food product manufacturing, industrial product manufacturing, agriculture and oil & gas industries. His representation spans matters concerning real estate, general liability defense litigation, nonsubscriber defense litigation, workers compensation defense, commercial contracts, mergers & acquisitions, private equity and employment. Mr. Johnson also serves the business community as a frequent speaker on the topics of litigation, risk management, and related legal topics. Janet Johnson graduated from Connecticut College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and worked at Rolling Stone Magazine before attending law school. Janet obtained her law degree in 1994 from the University of Oregon School of Law. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1994 and the Colorado Bar in 1996 and is licensed to practice in federal court. Attorney Janet Johnson is licensed to practice before all Florida State Courts, as well as in the State of Colorado. She is a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Florida Bar Association. Janet Johnson is recognized in the legal community as an experienced DUI defense attorney, which is why she was tapped to served as Faculty Member for the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers seminar on DUI entitled “Blood, Breath and Tears” in 2012.
