David is the founder of DH Law. He is an experienced lawyer who is well versed in all areas of civil litigation. David possesses a degree in Economics (B.A.) from University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from University of London. He has a diverse background in the legal field. In past years, David worked at a Personal Injury law firm in downtown Toronto, specializing in matters relating to tort claims and accident benefits. Looking to diversify, David then joined Eric K. Gillespie Professional Corporation as a lawyer specializing in Environmental and Municipal law. At Gillespie Law, David won a landmark decision, which was the first renewable energy approval to have been revoked (Alliance to Protect Prince Edward County v Director, Ministry of the Environment, Case No.: 13-002/ 13-003). Area of Practice: Mass Tort Litigation Richard K. Hy is an Associate Attorney at Eglet Adams. His practice primarily focuses on complex civil litigation including mass torts and class actions. When the Nevada Legislature is in session, Richard also works closely with the Nevada Justice Association advocating for legislation that protects consumers from false and misleading advertising, deceptive trade practices, and unsafe products. Prior to joining Eglet Adams, Richard worked at the Office of the Nevada Secretary of State. He was appointed Deputy Secretary of State and tasked with overseeing Nevada’s elections division. In that role, Richard was responsible for election administration, campaign finance enforcement, candidate filings, and legislative affairs. His predecessor in that same position notably included Samuel L. Clemens, more commonly known by his pen name of “Mark Twain.” Richard earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Gonzaga University School of Law. He received his undergraduate degrees, a B.S. in Sociology and a B.A. in Political Science, from the University of Utah.
