Renée Simon Lesser specializes in personal injury and property damage claims, insurance defense and coverage litigation, and product liability and toxic tort litigation. She has tried jury and bench trials in state and federal court and has argued appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First and Second Departments. For two decades, Renée has successfully defended churches, synagogues, schools, nursing homes, non-profit entities, as well as large and small businesses and individuals throughout New York State. Most of these cases involve allegations of personal injury, property damage or economic loss resulting from premises defects, sports related injuries, labor law claims, assaults, sexual misconduct, negligent supervision, and building design and maintenance claims. Renée has also secured significant awards for plaintiffs in personal injury cases, including a $4.5 million judgment obtained after trial and appeal against a property owner resulting from the rape and sexual assault of a tenant. Ariel Lett, Esq. is the Managing Attorney of Lett Law. Mr. Lett brings broad experience to the Firm. Mr. Lett also has litigation experience in trade secret and non-compete law. Richard H. Levenstein is a shareholder at Nason Yeager. He practices in the area of complex commercial, civil litigation, physician and medical staff representation. Mr. Levenstein represents clients with business disputes, including actions arising from contracts or torts; his practice also has a heavy concentration in representing individual physicians, professional medical practices and the physician leadership of organized medical staffs around the State. He practiced in Boca Raton for 18 years, before relocating to Martin County. In addition to his legal work, Mr. Levenstein is the founding President of the Justice Major B. Harding American Inn of Court and former President of the Martin County Bar Association. He has served on several Florida Bar Committees, and serves on the Board of many national organizations including the American Inns of Court Foundation, The Lawyers Committee of the National Center for State Courts and the American Judicature Society. He is deeply committed to educating the public about the importance of a fair and impartial judiciary, and trains lawyers and judges around the Country how to do so, through the Our Courts America initiative. Marc Levey is a Senior Counsel in the New York office of Baker McKenzie. He has over 46 years of experience in international taxation and is a nationally recognized expert in his field, particularly in structuring and defending transfer pricing strategies. He has frequently been acknowledged by Euromoney as one of the "World's Leading Tax Advisors," included in its "Best of the Best" global tax experts. He also received a 2017 Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who's Who. Mr. Levey's practice focuses on transfer pricing and cross-border transactions; tax controversies and litigation; general corporate, international and partnership taxation, and restructuring multinational company's global operations. He has worked in various industries such as pharma/life sciences, financial institutions, energy, automotive, chemicals, electronics, consumer goods, gaming, fashion and luxury products. Mr. Levey serves as the Chair of the Firm's Fashion and Luxury Industry Practice Group and was the past Chair of the firm's Global Transfer Pricing Steering Committee. Mr. Levey previously served as Tax Attorney with the International Tax Ruling Group of the National Office of the IRS from 1975 to 1977. He acted as Senior Trial Attorney with the Tax Division of the U.S. Department of Justice from 1977 to 1981. He was the Special Attorney to the Attorney General of the U.S. Department of Justice in 1982. Mr. Levey was formerly a partner in a Big Five firm, where he headed the transfer pricing practice for the greater metropolitan New York area and was a member of the firm's international task force. Mr. Levey also was a tax partner at a prominent New York-based law firm.
