Professor Timothy Arcaro is a tenured faculty member at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and brings his knowledge and resources to support Arcaro Law Group. Professor Arcaro teaches courses in family law, international family law, domestic violence law, and juvenile law among others, and maintains membership in several legal and educational associations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice from Pennsylvania State University before completing his Juris Doctorate at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 1986. Thanks to his significant research and experience in areas of family law, he has been published in numerous professional publications and regularly speaks at conferences and meetings. He has received multiple awards during the course of his professional career including the prestigious Faculty Award of Professionalism awarded to a single law faculty member in Florida annually by the Florida Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism and The Florida Bar’s Standing Committee on Professionalism.

Raised in a small town near East Lansing, Mr. Ash went to Michigan State University where he received a BA in Business Administration in 1985. He worked for Michigan National Corporation where he discovered a desire for the law. Mr. Ash graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1993. During law school, he gained valuable experience clerking for three Circuit Court Judges: Honorable Alice Gilbert; Honorable Robert Anderson; and Honorable Rudy Nichols. Upon graduation, Mr. Ash started his firm which today is Ash & Ash Legal Group. His connection to the judges allowed continued service to the court as an appointed lawyer. Ash quickly gained litigation skills in and out of trial. Ms. Athanasakis joined RLG Law after serving as an Associate at Columbus Community Legal Services in Washington, DC. There, she represented refugees and advocated for clients in obtaining visas through the Humanitarian Parole Petition and in deportation proceedings. Prior to this role, she was a Summer Associate with global firm Integreon, where she worked in the business litigation unit. During the course of completing her education, Ms. Athanasakis was a Summer Associate, Law Clerk and Intern with RLG Law, where she was a valued member of our team over several years. Ms. Athanasakis received her Juris Doctor degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. During her law school career she worked in the School’s clinic. She also attended The Catholic University of America for undergraduate studies, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree. During this time, she was an active member of the Pre-Law Society, serving as Vice President.
