Clifford A. Meirowitz was chair of the New York County Lawyer?s Association pro bono Elder Law Project and the past chair of the New York County Lawyer's Association Elder Law Committee. Mr. Meirowitz is an adjunct assistant professor at New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies where he teaches a course in Trusts and Estates and the NYU Wagner School of Lifelong Learning where he teaches an Elder Law class. Mr. Meirowitz is a mentor attorney to the New York Law School Elder Law Clinic. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the New York State Bar Association?s Elder Law Section, where he was a member of the Executive Committee and past vice chair of the subcommittee, Persons Under Disability, and was a past member of the New York City Bar?s Committee on Legal Problems of the Aging. He was named as a 2009 New York Superlawyer. Mr. Meirowitz was appointed in 2004 by the Chief Judge of New York State to serve on the Commission on Fiduciary Appointments. Mr. Meirowitz is a founding member of the New York Presbyterian Hospital's Planned Giving Advisory Council. Mr. Meirowitz testified before the New York City Council Joint Committees on Aging and Health regarding resources available to seniors in New York City. He has chaired and / or presented at various Continuing Legal Education classes for the New York County Lawyers? Association, New York State Bar Association and the City Bar. He has received numerous appointments as court evaluator, guardian and attorney for the alleged incapacitated person in Guardianship proceedings and appointments as Guardian Ad Litem in Surrogate?s Court proceedings.

Mejias believes in accountability in business. In 2003, despite overwhelming odds, David Mejias was elected to the Nassau County Legislature. Since taking office, Mejias has maintained his focus and fought for issues that are important to his thousands of constituents. He is also a veteran of tough battles, fighting hard to win reelection. He has led the effort to keep our children safe from sex offenders by sponsoring the toughest Megan’s Notification Law in New York State and sponsored legislation implementing residency restrictions for sex offenders. Most recently, David Mejias sponsored and passed legislation that allows law enforcement to install computer monitoring software on the computers of registered sex offenders, using the same technology sex offenders use to prey on our children to catch them in the act. As a legislator and in the practice of law, David has fought for the rights of victims of domestic violence. He has been recognized by the Coalition Against Domestic Violence for his efforts on their behalf. David Mejias is a graduate of The University at Albany School of Business and Fordham University School of Law.

Ralph J. Mellusi is an experienced and highly effective Maritime Personal Injury attorney who is certified as a "Proctor in Admiralty" by the Maritime Law Association of the United States.
