Kari MacDonald graduated from Michigan State University in 1998 and received her Juris Doctorate in 2001 from Michigan State University College of Law (formerly known as the Detroit College of Law). She became licensed in Michigan in the fall of 2001 and practiced law in Michigan for two years before relocating to Florida. In February of 2004, she sat for the Florida bar exam and was admitted to practice law in Florida a few months thereafter. Before opening up her own firm in June of 2009, Kari practiced in the areas of Family Law, Civil Litigation, Probate Estates and Workers Compensation. Since opening her own practice Kari handles cases almost exclusively in the areas of Family Law, and Estate Planning and appears before the Courts in Hillsborough, Polk, Pasco, Pinellas and Manatee counties. In April of 2018, Kari became a collaboratively trained attorney in an effort to afford her client a more civil and financially-advantageous way in which to resolve what may otherwise be a highly-contested divorce case. Kari is a member in good standing of the Michigan Bar Association and the Florida Bar Association. She is a member of the Family Law and Young Lawyers Divisions of the Florida Bar Association, Next Generation Divorce, the Brandon Bar Association and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Kari is a working, married, mother of two wonderful little girls. Her personal goal is to provide her clients with personal, affordable and competent legal representation in a variety of legal arenas. Devon is an Associate Attorney in the Family Law Department. She is a dynamic attorney bringing a fresh perspective and tailored solutions to each client’s unique situation. Specializing in all facets of family law, Devon adeptly handles cases involving spousal support, equitable distribution of assets and liabilities, child custody, child support, relocation, and post-judgment matters. Combining empathy with strategic thinking and sharp legal acumen, Devon makes a significant difference in the lives of those facing challenging family transitions. Advocating for fair custody arrangements and guiding clients through the complexities of divorce proceedings, she ensures that every client feels heard, supported, and confidently represented. More than just an attorney, Devon is a dedicated ally during some of life’s most difficult moments. A graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, Devon completed a clerkship with the Honorable Nesle A. Rodriguez, J.S.C., in Hudson County. This experience, coupled with her time in private practice, has honed her skills in managing the emotionally charged landscape of family law. Away from the office, Devon enjoys spending time and traveling with her family and her Bernese Mountain Dog.

Mr. Malech graduated from Rutgers University, Rutgers College General Honors Program (Cum Laude) in 1990. He is also a graduate of George Washington University School of Law, and has practiced law in Maryland and Washington, DC, since 1994. A seasoned trial lawyer, Mr. Malech offers legal services in the areas of criminal defense, divorce and family law, and personal injury.
