Karen Meyer is a partner in the law firm of Cornetet, Meyer, Rush & Stapleton. Karen has practiced primarily in domestic relations law since 1992. She is experienced in all aspects of family law and practices primarily in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, and Warren Counties.

Attorney Meyers uses her unique background as a Finance Major and a Certified Financial Litigator (CFL) to thoroughly investigate and evaluate financial issues in a divorce. Bradford F. Miller began working for Stahancyk, Gearing, Rackner & Kent as a law clerk. While in law school, Brad also worked for a law firm specializing in taxation, estate planning, and business transactions and clerked for the Honorable Dennis Hubel, a federal magistrate judge in Portland. Realizing that his passion lay in family law, Brad returned to the firm, then called Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, and continued to work part-time during the school year, through his bar passage. Having learned the value of good planning, Brad was the primary associate for Senior Shareholder Jody Stahancyk, dealing with all matters related to family law and complex asset divorces. In March 2012, Brad was elected as a Shareholder of the firm, now known as SKH Family Law & Estate Planning, where he specializes in complex negotiation and resolution of family law issues, from prenuptial agreements to child custody and all matters relating to support and property division. While settlement and mediation is always a preferred path, Brad also has extensive experience in litigation at both the Circuit Court and Court of Appeals of the State of Oregon. While Brad is primarily based out of our Portland office, he travels statewide to accommodate client needs, usually keeping a docket of a few cases out at the coast, as well as up and down the Willamette Valley.

Cindy Mills is a caring lawyer known for her supportive and compassionate manner. She is even better known as a formidable force in the courtroom and a savvy negotiator who possesses a keen working knowledge of North Carolina family law. Described by a local magazine as a “preeminent power attorney” and “the clock cleaner,” Cindy won an award of $5.9 million for a client in an alienation of affection lawsuit in July 2010 – the second highest judgment ever awarded in North Carolina at that time. Cindy has prevailed in a number of family law cases for clients before the NC Court of Appeals. She is passionate about providing high-caliber representation for her clients whether they are dealing with a simple legal matter or entangled in a contentious complex family dispute. Cindy began her career in private practice in Charlotte, NC in 1989. She returned to her native Pitt County in 2002 and joined the law firm of Blount and Crisp which became Blount, Crisp & Mills. In 2002, Cindy established Mills & Economos as owner and managing partner. She opened The Law Office of Cynthia A. Mills as a sole practice law firm in 2013.
