Salisu "Sal" Richardson is a Native of Miami, Florida, received a BS (Finance/Honors), a JD, and joint MA (Real Estate), all from University of Florida (Go Gators!). With Law School accolades from Trial Team, he began defending Employers/Carriers in Workers' Compensation claims throughout Florida. In Jan 2011, he was chosen to open the Florida office of Testan Law, the largest WC defense firm in the country. Howard is partner in charge of the Tax Controversy Group at the Cincinnati law firm Wood & Lamping, LLP. He has practiced law for over 39 years. He is also a licensed Ohio CPA. HE has a BBA accounting degree from the University of Cincinnati, and, received his Juris Doctorate (law) degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in all Ohio courts, the United States Tax Court, U.S. District Court in Cincinnati, 6TH Circuit Court of Appeals, and United States Supreme Court. Howard’s practice concentrates in civil and criminal tax problems, estate planning and probate, and tax court trial work. From 1968 to 1978, he was a federal agent with the U.S. Treasury Department/IRS. While there, he served in several technical and management positions. For approximately 39 years, he has taught in the graduate Tax program at the University of Cincinnati, Adjunct Professor of Taxation.
