Morris Bart grew up in the New Orleans area, graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1975, and received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 1978. During law school he served as President of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, was a member of the Blue Key National Honor Society, and received the American Jurisprudence award for academic excellence. He was inducted into the Louisiana Bar in 1978 and is currently a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, Mississippi Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, and serves on the council of the Louisiana Association for Justice. Mr. Bart has been a trial lawyer for over 40 years. During his career, he has developed a national reputation as a leader in handling pharmaceutical, medical devices, and other Mass Torts litigations. In this area, he has successfully achieved many multi-million dollar recoveries for his clients.

Morris and his wife, Cathy, have been married for more than 39 years and have three daughters. He is a strong believer in health and fitness and regularly runs, bikes, skis, and plays tennis.

Mr. James Barth graduated magna cum laude from Valparaiso Law School in 2016. He is an attorney at the law offices of Pfeifer Morgan & Stesiak, focusing his practice in the area of personal injury and advocating for clients who have suffered an injury or loss. Having clerked for both Federal and State trial courts, Mr. Barth gained valuable knowledge and experience in a courtroom setting. He is a valued asset to the firm, using his experiences from time served in the Marine Corps helping junior Marines through the issues they faced to make the law relatable to his clients. Mr. Barth is a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, Indiana Bar Association, and serves as Treasurer for the Porter County Inns of Court. Outside the office, James enjoys hiking, mushroom hunting, and watching movies with his wife.

Alex Bartko is the founder of AB Law, bringing a wide array of experience from both his tenure as a former litigation partner at a prominent Atlanta law firm and as lead in-house corporate litigation counsel. Through his strategic and assertive approach, Alex has successfully navigated a broad spectrum of disputes, from pre-suit negotiations to trials and appeals. His deep insight on the legal challenges businesses face also enables him to provide legal advisory services to businesses of all sizes, helping them to navigate complex issues and minimize risk. Raised in Atlanta, Alex attended the Westminster Schools before earning his B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Georgia. He then graduated with honors from Emory University School of Law, where he was appointed to the Order of Barristers and actively participated in the Emory Moot Court Society. Alex also received several awards for excellence in his coursework. Following law school, Alex spent 11 years in private practice in Atlanta, representing clients across multiple industries. He then served as lead litigation counsel for a major corporation in Atlanta for two and a half years before founding AB Law. Alex has also taught an advanced trial techniques class at Emory Law. Alex resides in Atlanta with his wife and two children. In his leisure time, he enjoys watching the Georgia Bulldogs, reading, playing golf, and coaching his kids’ soccer teams.
