Scott Sachs represents private and governmental entities in complex litigation in the areas of data privacy and security issues, construction and environmental law. Mr. Sachs helps clients procure equipment, set up safety protocols, negotiate circuit contracts and provide e-rate bids, Internet service and hosted data to various entities. He has assisted clients with identifying, searching and forensically preserving Terabytes of data. He has worked with third party vendors and Internet Service Providers to identify account holders and preserve and obtain evidence. Mr. Sachs also assists clients with data retention policies, hacking, spoofing, take down notices, data theft, security and breach notification. Mr. Sachs counsels clients on technology-based effluent limitations, water quality standards, national pollution discharge elimination system (“NPDES”) permits, nonpoint source pollution and total maximum daily loads, discharges of dredged or fill materials, and hazardous substance spills. He assists clients with remediation goals, site clearance, and all other contamination concerns. Mr. Sachs has helped a large school district client purchase pollution legal liability insurance, and is currently overseeing hazardous substances compliance on over 90 of its properties. Additionally he reviews reports going to lead agencies, supervises and coordinates consultant work-product, and manages environmental clean-up cases. Mr. Sachs also advises Internet Service providers and corporations on data security and privacy issues including technology contracts. Mr. Sachs began his legal career as a clerk at the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the Michigan Attorney General’s Natural Resources Division.

Amir Hassan Sadaghiani has been the Managing Partner of Ostrer & Sadaghiani, P.C. since April 2022. Prior to forming the firm with his law partner, Benjamin Ostrer, Amir had been an attorney with Ostrer & Associates, P.C. since October 2014. He was promoted to Senior Associate in January 2021. Prior to entering private practice, he served the people of Orange County as an Assistant District Attorney since December 2006.While serving in the Orange County District Attorney's Office, he investigated, prosecuted, and tried numerous cases to verdict involving the crimes of murder, vehicular assault, arson, assault, intimidating a witness, robbery, burglary, criminal possession of a weapon, possession and sale of narcotics and marihuana, driving while intoxicated and larceny. Mr. Sadaghiani was assigned to the Special Investigations Unit where he oversaw the District Attorney's Office's wiretaps. He also was assigned to the Major Crimes On-Call Panel where he responded to the scene of homicides and assisted in the beginning stages of investigation. Mr. Sadaghiani is a member of the New York State Bar and is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He has served as a mock trial coach and was the attorney coach for the 2008 Port Jervis High School Orange County championship team. Amir was raised in the Town of Deerpark and graduated from Port Jervis High School in 1999. He graduated in 2003 from Bucknell University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a minor in American Politics. At Bucknell, Mr. Sadaghiani served as both Student Body President and Student Body Vice-President of Finance. He served as chair of the Bucknell Community Judicial Board and was a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. In 2006, he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School. At Notre Dame, Mr. Sadaghiani served as Student Body President and was co-captain of the Moot Court Trial Team. At Commencement, he was awarded the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for distinguished achievement in the art of advocacy, the Judge Joseph E. Mahoney Award for outstanding leadership and the Captain William O. McLean Law School Community Citizenship Award.

Ramtin Sadighim obtained a bachelor's degree in management from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of West Los Angeles.
