James Tawney is a native of the Southwest dedicated to serving his community. He was born and raised in Arizona where he attended Northern Arizona University and graduated summa cum laude. After receiving his undergraduate degree, he attended Texas Tech University School of Law in Lubbock, Texas. During this time, he received multiple awards for academic excellence and was actively involved in the trial advocacy program. He served as the lead articles editor on the Estate Planning & Community Property Law Journal, in which he was also a published author. He graduated from law school magna cum laude. After law school, James began his professional legal career at an El Paso based plaintiff’s personal injury law firm. His practice included representing multiple injury victims and their families throughout New Mexico and Texas. In 2016, he, along with fellow plaintiff’s attorneys Concepcion Flores and Alejandro Acosta, founded Flores, Tawney & Acosta, P.C. with offices located in Las Cruces, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. James lives in Las Cruces, New Mexico. In 2016-2017, James was awarded the designation of a Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine, which is produced by Thomson Reuters. He was also selected to the State Bar of Texas 2014 LeadershipSBOT Class and is a Board Member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers. He has served on the Texas Trial Lawyers Association Board of Directors (2014-2015) as well as the State Bar of Texas Committee for Pattern Jury Charges: Malpractice, Premises, and Products (2014-15). He is member of both the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.

Alan Taylor, a 2013 addition to Segal McCambridge's Michigan office, is a Shareholder in the firm's Michigan office and serves as Chair of the firm's Professional Liability Practice Group. Mr. Taylor focuses his practice on commercial litigation, the defense of professional negligence claims for lawyers, accountants and financial advisors, insurance defense, real estate litigation, business transactions and defending creditor's rights. Amy M. Taylor joined the firm of Heckler & Frabizzio in June of 2009 where she represented employers and insurance carriers in defense of workers’ compensation claims. In 2017 Amy made the transition into General Liability practice; shortly thereafter becoming Partner. Prior to joining Heckler & Frabizzio, Amy practiced corporate law in Wilmington, DE where she specialized in business and commercial transactions involving Delaware alternative entities. Amy graduated magna cum laude in 2003 from the University of Delaware with an Honors Degree with Distinction in Philosophy and Criminal Justice and a minor in Legal Studies. Amy’s honors thesis led to a publication on the topic of “Philosophy and Terrorism” in the international journal Lo Straniero. Amy then graduated cum laude from Villanova Law School in 2006 where she was a Managing Editor for the Villanova Law Review. Amy also served as Community Service Chair for the O’Connor Inn of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity and completed an externship at the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia. Amy was admitted to the Delaware Bar in 2006 and to the United States District Court for the District of Delaware in 2007.
