Joy, a Chicago native, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (cum laude) from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Joy attended law school at Indiana University-Bloomington and the University of Arizona. She received her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1996. Joy is admitted to practice in the following jurisdictions: Wisconsin, Arizona, the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the Western District of Wisconsin, the District of Arizona, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Peter G. Bertrand is Co-Chair of the Firm’s Trade Secret and Employee Mobility and Wine Industry Practice Groups. Mr. Bertrand’s practice, which is national in scope, focuses on the representation of financial institutions and companies in the areas of litigation, bankruptcy and creditor rights law.
