Mark Wenzel joined Bradley, Drendel & Jeanney in March 2005. He came to the firm after eight years of trial experience in a law firm where he worked primarily as defense counsel in bad faith cases and personal injury cases. He also brings special expertise to matters involving complex insurance coverage issues. His background and experience makes Mark a valuable resource to our clients, as he provides a unique perspective and understanding of the insurance industry and the manner in which they evaluate, investigate, and litigate personal injury claims. Mark now devotes his practice strictly to personal injury cases, including automobile and trucking cases, product liability, premises liability and insurance bad faith. After graduating from Gonzaga Law School in 1995, Mark worked for two years as a law clerk in the Nevada Supreme Court prior to focusing his practice in civil law. He is a native of Chicago, Illinois, and received his undergraduate degree from DePaul University in 1990.

Prior to forming Wesierski and Zurek LLP, Mr. Wesierski was the managing senior partner at the Orange County office of a large defense firm. He also served on the executive management committee for that firm. Mr. Wesierski attended California State University at Long Beach, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1975. He studied law at the University of San Diego and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1978. Mr. Wesierski was admitted to the California State Bar in 1979. Mr. Wesierski has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict in both state and federal court in such diverse areas of law as wrongful termination, medical malpractice, premises liability, insurance coverage bad faith, products liability, defamation, breach of contract, sexual harassment, 17200 claims, agent malpractice, malicious prosecution, appraiser malpractice, and auto liability. Mr. Wesierski has also arbitrated numerous cases to a successful conclusion. He has achieved the highest status in ABOTA with over 100 trials to verdict.

He also represents clients concerning contaminated media under federal state Superfund programs, is frequently involved in the representation of clients concerning liability allocation issues concerning contaminated sites, and represents clients concerning the development of sites under the Brownfield Cleanup Program in New York. He represented industry groups in litigation successfully challenging overzealous regulations relative to the State Superfund and pesticide programs in New York State. Tom is best known for his ability to handle controversial projects, including major energy projects. In that context, he has extensive experience assisting clients in obtaining permits in all of the regulatory programs, including air quality, water quality, water quantity, solid waste, hazardous waste and low-level radioactive waste. He also regularly assists clients with environmental issues associated with real property transactions. In the oil and gas arena, Tom represents clients on a broad variety of issues involving legislation, compulsory integration, administrative adjudication, civil litigation, and investigations by the New York Attorney General's office. In his more than 30 years of practice, Tom has represented the oil and gas industry on many issues. He was one of the principal authors of the spacing and compulsory integration legislation that overhauled New York's oil and gas program in 2005. He was also at the forefront of the 2008 amendments to New York law to accommodate the development of the shale resources in New York State. He has litigated cases involving oil and gas issues in New York and Pennsylvania. Tom has also represented clients on a variety of pipeline certification and construction issues. He was active in the legislation streamlining the pipeline certification process before the New York State Public Service Commission and regularly counsels clients concerning midstream strategies and transactions associated with midstream development. Also, he has represented major interstate pipelines on environmental issues and has worked with a large interstate pipeline company to help streamline the review process before the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Those projects include representation of clients before the Susquehanna River Basin Commission and the Delaware River Basin Commission. Tom also represents pipeline companies in construction contract litigation.

Sue E. West, experienced personal injury attorney, earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Houston where she graduated with honors. Soon after, she enrolled in Law School and graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2001. She was admitted to the Texas State Bar in the same year.
