Mark was born in Troy, Ohio and raised until age 12 in Tipp City, Ohio. Mark moved with his parents and brother to Oklahoma in 1975. Mark attended Edmond Memorial High School, graduating in 1980. Mark attended Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma, graduating from UCO with a Bachelor's Degree in Business-Finance.
