Tara Diamond has exclusively practiced in all areas of family and matrimonial law throughout New York City for more than 19 years. Her experience includes representing clients in custody and visitation, equitable distribution, child support, maintenance, paternity, child protective and order of protection matters; the negotiation and drafting of property, custody, and visitation settlement agreements; the negotiation and drafting of pre-nuptial agreements; and step-parent and second parent adoptions. She is a member of the Manhattan Family Court 18-B Assigned Counsel Panel and has been certified by the First Judicial Department as an attorney qualified to represent children in custody and visitation disputes in both Manhattan Family Court and Manhattan Supreme Court. Ms. Diamond frequently serves as a Parenting Coordinator to assist parents reduce conflict and improve their ability to successfully co-parent. She has also been trained as a mediator. Ms. Diamond is a member of the Board of Directors for the New York Women’s Bar Association and serves as co-chair of the New York Women’s Bar Association Children’s Rights committee. Richard Diamond is the founder and managing partner of Diamond & Diamond, P.A., a highly respected divorce and family law firm with its main office in Short Hills, New Jersey. Mr. Diamond is a Certified Matrimonial Trial Lawyer by the New Jersey Supreme Court; Listed in the Superlawyers Publication for 2026 for Divorce & Family Law in New Jersey; and a Member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Diamond is also one of the few accredited divorce mediators in New Jersey, authorized to conduct economic mediation in divorce and post-divorce matters where there is an active domestic violence restraining order in place. With over 40 years of legal practice in New Jersey and 38 years dedicated exclusively to divorce and family law, Mr. Diamond provides strategic, client-focused representation in complex matters, including handling high-net-worth divorces, business valuations tied to matrimonial disputes, and child custody and parenting time disputes.

Michael’s roots run deep in the valley and in agriculture; his childhood was spent helping his parents run the family dairy, before leaving to attend California State University at Fresno to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and then on to San Joaquin College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate and was a member of Alpha Gamma Epsilon Law Fraternity. Throughout college and law school Michael A. Dias managed a sizable dairy and farming business, and today in addition to practicing law he successfully runs his own farming and agricultural spraying businesses. His first hand experience as a farmer, dairyman and businessman have given Mr. Dias valuable insight into the legal needs of the Valley’s agricultural and business community.
