Alicia joined Reese-Beisbier & Associates in August 2019. Alicia was excited to start her legal career with Reese-Beisbier & Associates to develop her skills as an advocate and litigator. Alicia has lived in Georgia since 2001. After a ten plus year career in Banking and Mortgage Lending, she graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University in 2011 with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Political Science. After a few years volunteering as a court-appointed special advocate for children in DFCS care and working as a juvenile probation officer, Alicia decided to pursue her dream of being a lawyer. She graduated cum laude from Mercer University’s School of Law in 2019. While attending Mercer University’s School of Law, she interned with Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer’s Foundation, where she assisted survivors of domestic violence in obtaining protective orders against their abusers. Alicia also interned with the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office, Henry County Office of the Solicitor General, and Georgia Legal Services. Attorney Adelman has been representing clients in divorce, workers' compensation and personal injury matters for over a quarter of a century.
