Prior to establishing the Heidt Law Firm, Alex Heidt worked for several of the countrys largest defense contractors such as Orbital Sciences Corporation, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Harris Corporation, and Alion Science and Technology Corporation. Alex Heidt has a broad and diverse background in law, finance, business development and P&L managment. He has an extensive contract drafting and negotiation background, and has held major negotiations both nationally and internationally. Alex Heidt played a significant role in the valuation, due diligence and negotiation of several of Lockheed Martin’s and Harris’s acquisitions.

Melody received her B.A. (1984) and M.A. (1985) in Economics from Boston University and her J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law in 2000. During law school, she was a member of Southwestern’s International Law Journal and moot court program. Melody was admitted to the California Bar in 2000 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. She has provided pro bono legal assistance to needy individuals through Public Counsel and performed volunteer work for the Los Angeles County Superior Court Domestic Violence Program.
