Lory Ishii brings unwavering dedication to wildfire victims rooted in lived experience. During the 2025 Eaton Canyon wildfires, she faced the harrowing reality of wildfire destruction firsthand—awaiting evacuation orders, sheltering displaced neighbors, and witnessing her community reduced to ash. These events forged Lory’s personal mission: to help wildfire survivors rebuild, heal, and reclaim their futures. With over 15 years of legal experience, Lory is a seasoned litigator and trusted advocate. Prior to joining Fox Fire Attorneys, she founded and led a successful plaintiffs’ firm representing workers in complex cases. She secured multi-million dollar settlements for low-wage employees exploited by large corporations—championing justice for those too often unheard. Earlier in her career, she fought for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking in the nonprofit sector, working alongside Assistant U.S. Attorneys in Washington, D.C. to prosecute modern-day slavery. This deep-rooted commitment to justice now drives her work holding utility companies and other entities accountable for catastrophic wildfire damage. Lory is known for her compassionate, strategic, and tireless advocacy. She believes that legal representation is not just about recovery—it’s about restoration. Lory earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she published in the USF Journal of Law and Social Challenges and taught Street Law to underserved youth. Outside the courtroom, Lory continues her lifelong dedication to service as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for youth in dependency court and as a board member of 626 Village, supporting seniors aging safely in their homes. She is also an active parent leader in South Pasadena, where she chairs PTA committees and builds stronger schools and communities.

Using his nearly 40 years of experience, Dave provides guidance to all practice areas with a special focus on consumer defense, employment, business & transactions, commercial litigation, compliance & regulatory and licensing. In cases that have had industry setting precedent, he has earned a national reputation for defending some of the largest collection agencies, debt buyers and their clients in courts throughout the United States. Dave has represented debt collectors and debt buyers before the Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and many state Attorneys General, along with protecting client interests before all debt collector and debt buyer licensing jurisdictions. Dave has extensive experience handling employment-related class actions, including wage and hour collective actions throughout the nation, along with matters before every federal and most state agencies that enforce employment laws. Following his graduation from Cornell University’s New York State School of Industrial and Labor Relations with a bachelor of sciences degree in labor law, Dave attended Rutgers University Law School and Seton Hall University Law School, receiving his law degree in 1981. Before attending law school, Dave worked as a management labor relations representative for a Fortune 100 company. Since 1981, his practice has always included employment law, representing management interests. Having served for many years on the Commerce Clearing House’s National Human Resources Board, he also worked as an executive committee member of the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division Labor Law Committee. He has been an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. While now part of OutSolve, Dave was a founding member of Pinnacle Affirmative Action Services, one of the nation’s largest preparer of affirmative action plans. Dave was a contributing editor to the journal SHRM Magazine and the Legal Trends editor of the monthly newspaper, HRNews, both published by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has been a speaker for SHRM’s national conferences and regional seminars. Presenting at many national and regional conferences Dave has been an active member of various trade organizations that represent debt collectors, including the American Collectors Association and the Membership Attorney Program for appointed counsel for debt collectors. He has spoken at the National Association of Attorneys General, along with other state and federal regulators. Dave has been a part-time associate professor at Loyola University’s Graduate Business School in New Orleans, teaching a joint course in the business and law schools. Dave has received recognition in various “best attorney” listings in Louisiana and New Orleans and named a recipient of the national BTI All-Stars Counsel Award, as chosen by corporate counsel for providing outstanding legal services. Brian M. Iversen handles matters in Real Estate, Elder law, and Personal Injury. Brian graduated from the John Marshall Law School in May of 2015 receiving his Juris Doctor (J.D) and Elder Law Certification. He was also Deans listed and participated in several organizations while attending law school. While in law school he clerked at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm. Brian also volunteered in the community with the Center for Elder Law and Disability’s guardianship help desk, where he gained experience dealing with elderly and disabled clients. Sharon Sweat Jackson is a top female divorce lawyer serving the metro Atlanta area. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of South Carolina.
