Larry Barone has conducted a worker’s compensation and general liability practice since 1993. Larry is Certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Section on Workers’ Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He spent the early years of his practice representing only injured workers and plaintiffs. He has the unique prospective of having represented employers and insurance carriers in litigating, negotiating and settling worker’s compensation and civil litigation matters for nine years. Since joining Freeburn Hamilton in 2005, Barone has resumed his practice of only representing injured workers and plaintiffs. In addition to his worker’s compensation experience, Larry has also taken auto, medical malpractice, product liability and premise lawsuits to trial. A graduate of Dickinson College and Ohio Northern University College of Law, Larry is a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar. In addition, Larry is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, The United States District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He has also been a lecturer for the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the National Business Institute. Barone has been a member of Widener University School of Law’s faculty for their Intensive Trial Advocacy Program.

Jeffrey A. Barrack, a partner in Barrack, Rodos & Bacine, focuses his practice on securities fraud litigation on behalf of institutional investors and has been an important member of the litigation teams that have prosecuted major securities class actions to their landmark conclusions. Jeff has also successfully advocated corporate governance and excessive executive compensation reforms through shareholder rights claims asserted in direct and derivative cases alleging corporate directors’ breaches of fiduciary and other legal duties. Before joining BR&B in 1996, he served under the Philadelphia District Attorney and the United States Attorney assisting in the prosecution of complex white-collar crime in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Jeff has extensive trial experience while at BR&B, serving as the lead attorney on auditing and accounting issues in In re WorldCom, Inc. Securities Litigation and participating in the four week trial of the only non-settling defendant. He also served as a trial attorney in In re Apollo Group Inc. Securities Litigation, in which he and his litigation team secured a unanimous verdict for investors in January 2008 after two months of trial, resulting in a recovery of $145 million after a prolonged appellate process. Jeff has lectured on private securities litigation at the Beasley School of Law at Temple University, has been a featured columnist on securities litigation in The Legal Intelligencer, the oldest law journal in the United States, and has written on trial practice for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. He has been repeatedly honored by the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania as an attorney whose “work has been recognized by the judiciary as exemplary.”

In 2017, he graduated from Barry Law and returned to the Treasure Coast, gaining experience in estate planning, trust administration, probate administration, business planning, residential mortgage foreclosures, and evictions. Understanding the impact generational wealth has on society and setting the stage for success in generations to come, Jamy made it his mission to guide those in his community in such matters. In 2021, he graduated with his LL.M. in taxation with a concentration in estate planning from Boston University School of Law to further his mission. In his free time, he is an Adjunct Professor and continues to expand his knowledge of how to best serve his community.
