Carolina I. Nunez, Esq. attended the University of Central Florida and earned a bachelor of arts degree in Political Science and International Relations along with a minor in European Studies. She then earned a Juris Doctorate from Barry University — Dwayne O’ Andreas School of Law. Prior and during law school, Carolina has worked in real estate, short sales, foreclosures, and bankruptcies. She volunteered her time with both tax and bankruptcy clinics -- where she worked one on one with the Central Florida community. Carolina was raised in Los Angeles, California by her Colombian parents. Joseph N. Nusbaum is a bilingual (Spanish) native of the South Florida area, having graduated from high school in Miami Beach. He attended the University of Miami, where he received his B.A. in 1993. Joe then spent one year as a middle school teacher before attending Nova Southeastern University School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 1997. While attending law school, Joe was selected as a Certified Legal Intern for the Broward County State Attorney’s Office where he was responsible for leading several jury trials that lead to DUI criminal convictions. Now a partner in the firm, Joe specializes in matters dealing in Medical Malpractice, Auto Accidents, Faulty or Unsafe Products, Premises Liability, and Nursing Home Negligence. His trial accomplishments include the well-publicized matter of Amora v. State of Florida, Department of Children and Families that resulted in the largest jury verdict in history against that entity (35 million dollars), as well as several other multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Conor O’Brien was born and raised in Southern California. He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California in 2009. Following his graduation from Saint Mary’s College, Mr. O’Brien worked at several law firms, each specializing in different areas of the law. Conor O’Brien attended and graduated from Trinity Law School. He passed the California State Bar Exam and was sworn in to practice in 2017. Conor O’Brien comes from a family of personal injury experts. His grandfather, Eldon O’Brien was a personal injury private investigator and created Verdictum Juris, which is a monthly jury verdict report and the annual O’Brien’s Evaluator, which is a comprehensive annual jury verdict publication.
