Gretchen von Helms is a Harvard educated lawyer who has practiced law for approximately 20 years. Since opening The Law Offices of Gretchen von Helms in 1996, she has handled numerous serious criminal cases, defending the accused. She is an experienced state and federal trial lawyer. The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization has certified Gretchen von Helms as a specialist in criminal law. Gretchen von Helms is a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review AV Rated Attorney*, the highest peer recognition rating possible for an attorney. In 1998, she was selected as one of the top 20 lawyers under the age of 40 in California. She has authored many articles and is a lecturer on criminal defense issues. She has served as an instructor at San Diego State University and is Of Counsel for Silva, Chavez, Sepulveda & Castenada, a law firm located in Tijuana, Mexico and speaks Spanish. She is a legal analyst for local television shows and Court T.V., where she provides commentary on high profile criminal cases. In March 2009, she was featured in the San Diego County Bar Association Bar Report as a lawyer giving back to the community. Dr. Babak Vosooghi loves litigating for all the right reasons. He is a tenacious advocate for his clients and a strong believer in pursuing social and economic justice in the courts. He developed his advocacy skills through his ten years of practice in Iranian courts including the Supreme Court of Iran. Dr. Vosooghi represented many of his clients in various civil, commercial, and banking litigations, and gained transferable knowledge and expertise from his years of experience. He also possesses hands on experience in international trade and business law, and has represented his clients in various international arbitration cases. Dr. Vosooghi also prides himself for his passion to help those in desperate need of justice by taking pro bono cases and helping people for no fees. Dr. Vosooghi’s legal career is not limited to litigation; his knowledge of international financial law as evidenced by his PhD degree from Shahid Beheshti University, invited new opportunities. He was appointed as legal advisor in Centre for International Legal Affairs (CILA) the legal arm of the Office of the President of Iran. He also served as “International Legal Advisor” to Bank Melli of Iran, the largest financial conglomerate in the Middle East. Upon his arrival to Canada, Dr. Vosooghi was determined to continue his successful legal career. He obtained his GPLLM from University of Toronto, got called to the bar, and resumed his legal career. Dr. Vosooghi is actively involved in civil litigation and immigration law. Excelling in the disposition of property, as well as real property acquisitions and development work, Shannon is compelled to be an effective attorney, taking the time to understand her clients’ long-term business goals and maintain client relations. Shannon joined the firm in 2006 and became a Partner in 2015. She is also determined to help Sitko Bruno succeed, doing what she can to grow the firm and leading the charitable donations committee. Shannon currently serves on the Central Catholic High School Board of Directors. Outside of the office, Shannon enjoys long runs and adventure races, which probably comes in handy keeping up with her three boys and golden retriever.

Michelle is passionate about life and helping others. She’s dedicated to helping her clients through their personal injury claims and understands how stressful and difficult the process can be for her clients. Prior to earning her law degree, Michelle earned 2 B.S. degrees – Political Science and Human Development and Family Studies – from the University of Utah, and she’s a big Utah Utes' fan. She enjoyed living in Grand Rapids, Michigan while pursuing her law degree, now known as Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School and made lifelong friends there. She enjoys playing with her Doodles and spending time with family and friends.
