A registered nurse was her first career working in pediatrics and maternal child health for 10 years until graduating from New England School of Law and passing the Bar in 1998 . Attorney Schaefer initially worked for the Massachusetts HMO Association as staff counsel her first year out of law school and began her own practice in 1999. Early in her career she represented women on a pro bono basis through the women’s Bar Foundation’s program. This experience played a foundation for the many years of family law work that has followed. Having a boutique family law practice that was based in Cambridge Massachusetts for almost 20 years and has now relocated to Woburn Massachusetts for the past several years.

Terence Christian Scheurer, a graduate of Iona College and Touro Law School, is a Trial attorney specializing in the areas of matrimonial and family law for over 28 years.
