I genuinely believe the more you know regarding your options, the more empowered you will feel when making a decision. My personal and professional experience has proven to me no two families are alike and the complexity surrounding each case deserves a personal, thorough and realistic approach that works for your individual family. I am a first generation attorney who grew up in a small-town in Stokes County, North Carolina. Although divorced, my parents worked together to instill in me a strong work-ethic which afforded me a scholarship opportunity to attend George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, where I was a pitcher for the NCAA Patriots’ softball team. I graduated from George Mason with a Bachelor of Science degree in the Administration of Justice concentrating in Law and Society, and earned my national paralegal certification from the National Federation of Paralegals Association. Prior to becoming licensed as an attorney, I worked as a paralegal for five years focusing my experience to only issues related to family and domestic law, primarily in Mecklenburg County. I was licensed by the North Carolina State Bar in March 2017 and began my practice in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is my goal to provide effective support to you through every step of your case, to allow you greater access to honest, practical and personal representation. My practice philosophy is to build a purpose-driven career centered by my faith in God and exemplified by my service to your family. It is my sincerest hope that when the process is finished you feel empowered that you were provided the appropriate tools, skills and knowledge to make the best decisions possible regarding your family. Outside of the office you are likely to find me spending time with my husband, son and daughter, and our two, lovable, eleven-year-old dogs; or sharing appetizers with friends at my latest culinary find and cheering on my beloved Red Sox.
