DAWN SOUTH has been practicing law since 2009 and has concentrated her practice solely in the area of family law. She is a tenacious litigator who uses thorough preparation, her trial advocacy skills and experience to represent the needs of her clients. She prefers to work for and help individuals and families as opposed to businesses and corporations, which is why she was drawn to the practice of family law. Ms. South is known for responsiveness to her clients and being a tough litigator. She finds satisfaction in helping people take back control of their lives in tough situations. She is proud to volunteer with Comfort Zone Camp. Ms. South was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 2009 (member, Domestic Relations Section). She is also a member of the City of Richmond Bar Association and the Metro Richmond Family Law Bar Association. She has served on the Domestic Relations Section of the Richmond Bench Bar Conference and is the 2019 Co-chair of the Richmond Bench Bar Conference.

Over her career, Tanya has turned around cases for clients who were previously with other attorneys. After developing expectations and goals with clients, she is well known for her advocacy and insight. She has gained positive results in many divorce, custody and parenting cases and successfully negotiated difficult settlements. Representative cases include: Litigated a substantial increase in a business owner/father’s parenting time with his son against a mother who wanted minimal contact and alienation of the child from his father. Represented ex-husband with generational wealth and trust interests and successfully negotiated the termination of substantial spousal support payments to his ex-wife. Represented wife and stay-at-home mother of prominent professional and obtained permanent maintenance award of spousal support plus a post-marriage percentage share of husband’s royalty income from various patents he held. During what can be a confusing and tumultuous time, clients rely on the steady, compassionate and insightful counsel of Ms. Stanish, and appreciate her assistance in easing the financial and emotional transition into a new life post-divorce.

Tiffany Starr practices primarily Marital and Family Law, including pre-marital and post-marital agreements, dissolution of marriage, child support and alimony, paternity, and post-dissolution of marriage issues. Ms. Starr has been a resident of Vero Beach since 1989 and is involved with several different community organizations, including Indian River County Impact 100, Children’s Home Society and Hibiscus Children’s Center Foundation. Ms. Starr is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of University of Central Florida and received her J.D. from University of Florida.
