Dan Christensen has been practicing law since 1994. He started his career working in military courts, notorious for their strict adherence to rules and procedures. For the last several years, Dan has focused his practice exclusively on representing injury victims. He has been involved in almost 200 trials during his career in numerous federal and state courts against the largest defendants, including the U.S. Government. Dan will utilize his experience and proven results while fighting for you. Regardless of the size of the opponent, Dan has the experience and legal knowledge to aggressively advocate for his clients. Dan received a bachelor’s degree with Honors in 1991 and his J.D. with distinction from the University of Iowa in 1994. After graduating from law school, he served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG) in Fort Hood, Texas. He served as a prosecutor and defense counsel in numerous administrative hearings and courts-martial ranging from minor offenses to kidnapping, rape, and capital murder. After being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army JAG Corps, Dan joined a Texas personal injury law firm. Dan worked as the Chief of its Litigation Department and was the firm’s principle trial lawyer for years, trying numerous cases each year. Also, as the head of the firm’s personal injury division, Dan supervised and mentored between 15 and 20 trial lawyers at a time as they prosecuted thousands of cases.

Area of Practice: Estate Planning, Probate, Family and Divorce, Traffic Tickets and Criminal Defense Law I worked in Denver as an attorney in the field of elder law, probate, and estate planning. I understand the challenges that everyone encounters as they get older, and I am compassionate, able to relate and empathize with my clients, which enables her to present their concerns persuasively to the court. I also taught at the University of Denver in the Wills Lab during the summer. I joined a firm in Colorado Springs that practices in the area of family law and was there becoming a proficient family law attorney, handling divorce, custody, alimony, child support, step parent adoption, and other family law issues. I worked at the District Attorney’s office in Colorado Springs and became proficient in prosecuting criminal cases. In 2009, Drew Christman founded a law firm where he practiced law with his partners for nine years. In 2018, he parted ways with his then partners and formed Christman | Daniell Attorneys, where he continues to provide clients with outstanding legal representation in a variety of practice areas. He was voted “Best Business Attorney” in Denton County in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Drew got his start as an Assistant Attorney General of Alabama under Hon. William Pryor (now U.S. 11th Cir. Court of Appeals) from 1999-2002. While serving the people of Alabama, he gained extensive experience in constitutional litigation, administrative prosecution, and general civil litigation. Drew also served as a prosecutor in the violent crimes division and public corruption division of the Attorney General’s Office. He was appointed by the Attorney General as general counsel to multiple state boards and agencies, gaining valuable experience in administrative prosecution, defense, and general process. This experience was further enhanced and broadened over the next seven years in private practice as a civil defense litigator with Gidiere, Hinton, Herndon & Christman, representing some of the largest private corporations and insurance companies in the United States (i.e. Travelers Insurance, State Farm Insurance Companies, CVS, Best Buy, Yum! Brands, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing of America). Drew has successfully defended multi-million dollar lawsuits involving commercial and residential construction defect, commercial trucking, products liability, civil rights/employment law, medical malpractice, tort litigation, and contract litigation. He has appeared multiple times before the state Supreme Court, and has argued four times before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. After 10 years of practice in Alabama, the Christman family moved home to Texas. Drew completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, where he was the co-founder of the Gamma Chapter of Beta Upsilon Chi, America’s largest Christian social fraternity.
