Gray Ellis is the founder and managing partner of Ellis Family Law and has successfully represented individuals and families in their most important legal matters for more than 20 years. He is also Board Certified by the North Carolina Board of Legal Specialization - a distinction held by less than 2% of all family law practitioners in the state - and has been recognized for excellence in the practice of law by numerous independent attorney rating services. In addition to his training and experience, Gray believes his effectiveness on behalf of clients is due in part to his personal experience as a parent who has gone through a separation. Prior to joining Echols & Associates in March 2016, Kyle managed and operated his own law firm in Stillwater, Oklahoma where he practiced in the areas of family law, probate & estate planning, civil litigation, criminal, real estate, contracts, and personal injury. Kyle also serves as a qualified Guardian Ad Litem for children in domestic litigation cases. Kyle uses his years of experience in private practice to counsel individuals and help navigate through family law probate litigation. Kyle is an outstanding attorney that is a welcomed addition to Echols and Associates.

James L. Epperson was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1991 and served in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps, which included representing service personnel before courts-martial proceedings and negotiating the release of Navy members from foreign sovereigns in the Middle East. He was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1994 and has practiced before Federal and State Courts in civil and criminal actions in North Carolina and Georgia. He is certified in arbitration. James graduated from Appalachian State University and from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, in 1991.
