I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Law. Earlier in my career, I was an associate with Olson, Usset & Winegarden, P.L.L.P., where I worked in commercial real estate, shopping center leases, and business litigation. For several years I was of counsel to Luther, Heckt & Cameron, P.L.L.P., where I did probate litigation. For the past 15 years my practice has been exclusively in the area of matrimonial law, including divorce mediation and litigation, custody and parenting time proceedings, and support proceedings. I also write wills and trusts and provide estate planning services. I have been named a "Super Lawyer" by the Minnesota Journal of Law and Politics.

Alina began working for Thelen & Associates, LLC while still in college at Marquette University and throughout law school at Marquette Law School. Her five years of experience as a law clerk/paralegal prepared her for her flourishing law practice. Alina practices in Southeastern Wisconsin handling CHIPS proceedings, minor guardianships, termination of parental rights cases, adoption, and all family law matters, including divorce, child support, custody, placement and visitation. She also handles cases involving alimony (maintenance), and property division. Alina lives in Waukesha County with her husband, daughter, and two cats. She is an avid fan of the Packers, the Brewers and the Bucks. She comes from a large family and spends her free time with her family, cooking or reading a really good suspense novel.
