Stephen was born and raised in Liberia, West Africa. With 13 years of legal practice, Stephen’s journey has profoundly shaped his legal philosophy and continues to guide the way he approaches every matter he handles and every client he represents. Having experienced adversity firsthand, he understands the importance of advocacy, resilience, and having legal representation. Stephen is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Born in Waxahachie, Texas before the earth cooled (1965). Graduated from University of Houston in 1988 with a B.S., in Political Science. Received J.D. from South Texas College of Law in November of 1991. I competed in national mock trial competitions, so I stepped out of law school trained as an active litigator from day one. I had my first jury trial within first six months, which I won. After practicing law in the Houston area for twelve years, I relocated back to the DFW metroplex. My practice is dedicated to family law litigation. I have a proven track record of success in both settling cases for my clients in mediation and in litigating those cases that need final trials. I've been able to balance my practice and personal life, leaving time to give back to the community.
