Beginning her legal career as the the first woman Assistant District Attorney in the Alcovy Judicial Circuit, Ms. Hanks' tried over a hundred cases and various appeals. After her storied beginnings as a prosecutor, Ms. Hanks became CFO of a leading dental practice. In this capacity she handled HIPPA and OSHA compliance, employment disputes, insurance requirements, and contracts for various Vendors. She now practices at the Hanks Law Group where her one-of-a-kind background adds nuance to the firm's cases.

J.R. Hanks is a civil defense trial lawyer with over 30 years of experience. He has tried over 100 cases involving serious injury or death and has a proven track record of winning at trial. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, national insurance carriers, construction companies, self-insureds and privately held family businesses. J.R. has represented hundreds of companies and individuals in lawsuits in Georgia and across the Southeast. He attended Florida International University for his undergraduate degree, and St. Thomas University for his J.D. Mr. Hanna was the recipient of the key to Miami-Dade County in 2006.
