Richard is a regulatory attorney and litigator who helps companies resolve complex gaming law, data privacy and healthcare issues affecting their businesses. Since joining Taft in 2013, Richard has helped casinos, terminal operators, gaming equipment manufacturers, and video game businesses resolve legal matters arising under the Illinois Video Gaming Act and other gaming regulations nationwide. Richard has also helped clients successfully challenge the constitutionality of other local gaming laws. Richard’s comprehensive knowledge of gaming law issues and successful track record assisting terminal operators and gaming companies are among the reasons why he was honored as Top Gaming Litigation Lawyer for Chicago at Corporate LiveWire’s Excellence in Gaming Awards in 2016. Richard was recognized as one of 100 attorneys featured in the Lawyers of Color “Nation’s Best 2020,” which promotes diversity in the legal profession and advances democracy and equality in marginalized communities. Since 1991, has been a licensed lawyer engaging in corporate, commercial, litigation and immigration practices. His practices cover corporate and M&A, commercial transactions, intellectual property, employment, litigation & arbitration, real estate and immigration/nonimmigrant visas. His clients include multinational companies, foreign-invested enterprises, retail companies and leading state-owned enterprises and private domestic companies. He focuses on corporate formation, amendment and liquidation, commercial litigation, international business, oversea investment, labor and employment, retail and extended warranty practice, and business and employment based immigration practice. William E. Huber is a life long resident of St. Marys, Ohio. He is a 1961 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys, Ohio and a 1965 graduate of Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio, with a bachelors in Science and Education and a Juris Doctor in 1968. He has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Ohio and all Courts and Agencies of the State of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the United States District Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member and past president of the Auglaize County Bar Association. In the past he has served as the Assistant Prosecuting Attorney of Auglaize County, Ohio and the Assistant Law Director for the City of St. Marys, Ohio. He has been active in his community serving as member and past president, past state director of the St. Marys Jaycees. He was the state vice-president of the Ohio Jaycees and is a member of the Junior Chamber International Senate. He has been a trustee and past president of the St. Marys Chamber of Commerce, has served as a chairman of the St. Marys City Recreational Advisory Board, a general chairman of the St. Marys City United Way, President of the St. Marys National Little League, Trustee of the St. Marys Community Improvement Corporation, member of the Mayor's Downtown Revitalization Committee, Chairman of the St. Marys Civil Service Commission and a member of the Auglaize County Board of Elections. He has received recognition as the St. Marys Outstanding Jaycee, the Ohio Jaycee Presidential Award of Honor, has been selected for inclusion in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law. Mr. Huber was the first recipient of the Ohio Northern University College of Law, Public Interest and Pro Bono Services Award

Like most young adults, Mr. Hudack left college with big dreams for his life. He went to work, married, and started a family. He worked for Fortune 500 companies, established his own businesses, and developed real estate. In these roles, he developed the skills he still uses to negotiate matters, draft contracts and corporate documents, review agreements, and draft Estate Plan Documents for his clients. Mr. Hudack started his career in real estate, managing transactions for Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Hudack earned his Juris Doctorate from Western State College of Law, graduating magna cum laude. After serving as corporate counsel to community associations, Mr. Hudack transitioned his firm to Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration in 2018. Mr. Hudack understands that no two transactions are the same, so he takes the time to listen to his clients’ needs. Mr. Hudack is a dedicated family man with two grown children and several grandchildren.
