Emily Moore Leininger practices primarily in the areas of Divorce, Family Law, and Juvenile Law. She handles cases of divorce, child custody and visitation disputes, child support, adoption, paternity and legitimation, juvenile criminal matters, and other complex family law matters. She is actively involved in the Williamson County Bar Association, having been appointed to be the Law Day and Career Fair Chair. She is also an active member of the Harry Phillips American Inn of Court, an exclusive organization comprised of the best lawyers and judges in Williamson County, which is committed to promoting the goals of legal excellence, civility, professionalism, and ethics. Emily is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association. Emily practices primarily in the Greater Nashville area, including Williamson, Davidson, Rutherford, Sumner, Maury, Wilson, Hickman, and Marshall Counties. Emily is licensed to practice law in all of the state trial courts in Tennessee, as well as the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Tennessee.

John is a Partner in our Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on employment-based immigration and he handles many of the firm’s inadmissibility/removal cases. John is also the Partner in charge of the firm’s Pro Bono practice and in this capacity he leads the firm’s commitment to community outreach efforts by handling asylum, SIJS, DACA, and U-visa matters. He regularly partners with non-profit organizations such as domestic violence shelters and organizations that help unaccompanied minor children. Prior to joining T&S, John was a Senior Associate at a large international immigration firm where he focused on all aspects of employment-based immigration, removal and inadmissibility matters, naturalization cases, and family-based cases. He also handled many of the firm’s EB-5 matters, including successfully designating several Regional Centers and successfully representing both individual investors and Regional Center investors. John also has extensive experience with matters involving immigration litigation before the EOIR, BIA as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. John is certified as a Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California.

In 1971, I founded and organized Shore National Bank, and directed its growth and subsequent merger with Garden State National Bank. I also became active in land development and commercial construction projects, including office buildings, hotels, restaurants and shopping centers. As the Brick Business Administrator, I combined past business experience with political and non-profit experience to manage a $17 million budget with 350 employees. After 25 years as a business entrepreneur, I then began offering my knowledge to fellow entrepreneurs as a full time practicing attorney. My legal career began as a partner in a 25-lawyer firm with a concentration on multi-million dollar business acquisitions and sales, and large residential and commercial real estate transactions.
