Ashley Maconeghy is a litigation attorney who primarily handles general liability defense, representing individuals and insurers in the defense of a variety of matters, including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability cases. She has always been interested in problem solving for others. While in law school, Ashley worked for two Federal judges focusing on civil procedure, including litigation relating to bad faith in insurance. After completing her education, Ashley relocated to the Atlanta area and worked for a firm where her practice focused on litigation related to personal injury as well as probate administration. Ashley has taught several CLEs on probate administration and was the co-chair for the Fiduciary Section of the Young Lawyers Division of the Georgia Bar from 2017-2018. She worked for a defense firm in Gwinnett County focusing on personal injuries related to car accidents and premises liability until joining Savell & Williams in May 2021. Ashley has successfully tried cases in many counties throughout Georgia. Ashley is admitted to practice before all state courts in Georgia, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Georgia. She completed her undergraduate studies at King’s College, graduating summa cum laude with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Economics. Ashley then continued her studies at Syracuse University earning her Juris Doctor. She enjoys spending time with her family and lives in Lawrenceville with her husband and two children. Ashley and her husband are active members of Cross Pointe Church, in Duluth, Georgia

Thomas Madruga is a Senior Partner with Olivarez Madruga Lemieux O’Neill. Mr. Madruga oversees the firm’s litigation practice. His litigation experience includes a very broad range of clients and issues and provides a unique ability to proactively counsel and advise private and public clients away from costly litigation. Mr. Madruga has resolved cases through mediation, arbitration, dispositive motions, jury trials and appeals on behalf of clients in labor and employment matters, catastrophic injury matters, product liability, excessive force and police practices, premises liability, discrimination claims, civil rights violations, asbestos exposures, legal malpractice, general liability, construction law, wage and hour class actions, administrative disciplinary matters and appeals and insurance law. Mr. Madruga also serves as general counsel to several school districts and municipalities and routinely provides legal advice on the Brown Act, administrative and disciplinary personnel matters, grievances, contract and labor negotiations, and representation before the federal state and regulatory agencies, including the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Joaquin Madry has significant experience litigating major catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases in federal and state court. He has tried numerous cases to verdict and has recovered more than $150 million for his clients. Joaquin has built an extensive record serving individuals and families who received substandard medical care or who were the victims of negligence.

Michael Maggiano, the founder and senior partner of Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi, has specialized in all areas of motor vehicle collisions from auto to trucking and bus accidents as well as train wrecks for over 45 years now! He has worked as part of the trial team in the largest construction accident case in New Jersey and perhaps U.S. history. He was counsel in the In re Amtrak Train Disaster of 2015. He has handled high profile cases around the country in all areas from inadequate motel and hotel security cases, to mishandling of bodies and medical malpractice, achieving seven and eight-figure recoveries routinely. He was awarded the New Jersey Association for Justice Gold Medal Award. Received the Professor Clapp Lecturer Laureate by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal education. Received the “Mel” Award for achievements in Civil Litigation by the Melvin M. Belli Society. Received a Life Time Achievement Award from Chicago Kent College of Law as one of the most highly recognized alumni in its one hundred and twenty-five year history. He has been called in as lead trial counsel by many lawyers around the country as he is known to be able to try any type of personal injury successfully and has the documented track record to prove it. He is also licensed to practice law before the Supreme Court of the United States Certified as a civil trial attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Maggiano’s education includes a Juris Doctor with Honors in 1974 from IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law with a class rank of 17 in a class of 160. He also went on to graduate from Fairleigh Dickenson University with a Bachelor of Science Economics in 1970. As far as public appearances go, Maggiano has spoken at dozens of conventions and seminars around the country on legal topics and continues to do so actively. His topics range from the intricacies of legal techniques and strategies to specialized medical situations. He has appeared on both local and national television on various topics in the law. His cases and trials have been reported both in the general media and legal reporting journals. He has also had dozens of his articles published about winning for the injured in leading legal journals. Maggiano is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and an Advocate Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a past President of the New Jersey Association for Justice and the Melvin M. Belli Society, which is a highly select society of trial lawyers and barristers with notable members throughout the world.
