Fred Johnson is a trial attorney with more than 27 years of experience litigating and trying cases to juries, judges, and arbitrators. He has represented clients as first chair trial attorney in more than 25 jury and bench trials, as lead counsel in contested matters seeking injunctive relief, in arbitrations and mediations. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of matters. Fred has spent most of his career litigating commercial cases involving businesses and individuals in a variety of areas. He has significant experience handling cases involving fiduciary duties, employment contracts, trade secrets, and non-compete agreements. He has handled and tried cases involving the construction industry, manufacturing, employment discrimination and wrongful termination, EEOC and OSHA investigations, legal malpractice, insurance coverage disputes, trust agreements, products liability, and more. He also handles matters seeking temporary restraining orders and injunctions. During his career, he has handled cases in Texas, California, Colorado, Utah, Illinois, Florida, Louisiana, and Delaware. He has represented clients before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the United States Department of Labor, and the Texas Workforce Commission. Fred has also provided counseling and training for clients in the areas of employment /Title VII issues and litigation issues such as contribution and indemnity in Texas.

Lynn R. Johnson is an experienced trial lawyer and Senior Partner at Shamberg, Johnson & Bergman, Chtd. At the firm, he represents clients in complex serious personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Lynn joined the firm as an associate in 1970 and became a partner in 1974. In his practice, he is driven by his passion for helping ordinary people, as well as his desire to establish responsibility for the conduct of others. Lynn believes that anyone who is negligent or causes harm—whether it’s an individual person, a healthcare provider, or even a product manufacturer—must be held responsible. Currently, Lynn is a lifetime member of both universities’ respective alumni associations and, in the past, has served as President of the Washburn Law School Association. Lynn has been nationally recognized for his work as a trial attorney and has been named among the best trial lawyers in the United States. He is married to Jacqueline Lovelace Johnson, who has served for many years as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the second largest respirators research institute in the U.S. Together, Lynn and Jackie have one son, William Randolph (Randy) Johnson Lovelace.

Ms. Keela Johnson is an equity shareholder in our Family Law group. Ms. Johnson concentrates her practice in all areas of domestic relations and matters that impact the family. She serves as a court appointed guardian ad litem and parenting time coordinator in complex parenting time and custody matters, often in the middle of a contentious divorce. She also handles guardianships and conservatorships for children and adults. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Johnson was a mental health therapist for more than seven years. This experience allows her to bring a different perspective to emotionally charged and high conflict cases. Ms. Johnson cares about her clients and their concerns about the legal process. She understands that divorce is a time of transition and strives to help her clients understand the process from beginning to end. Ms. Johnson is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Family Law Section and Adoption Law Sections; Oakland County Bar Association, where she served as Chair of the Family Court Committee; the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts; and the Michigan Inter-Professional Association on Marriage, Divorce and the Family, Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. Ms. Johnson received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Upper Iowa University, her M.S. from University of Wisconsin-Stout, and her J.D., cum laude, from Western Michigan Cooley Law School.
