Richard P. Ready concentrates his personal practice in the areas of residential and commercial real-estate collateralized lender representation, as well as the representation of individuals, closely held businesses, not-for-profit organizations and municipalities in purchase/sale and land development transactions. Additionally, he oversees the firm’s representation of a variety of municipal planning and zoning bodies and serves as a municipal prosecutor for matters involving zoning and land use violations. A graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, Mr. Ready is admitted to practice in New York State and United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts.

George Recile is a Partner at Chehardy Sherman Williams. His primary practice area is personal injury. He also handles general litigation and represents clients with labor & employment issues. Mr. Recile has been named to America’s Most Honored Lawyers list and Outstanding Lawyers of America. He was named on several occasions as a Top Lawyer in Louisiana and was recognized by New Orleans Magazine as a “Top Lawyer.” He also holds the highest rating of AV-Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory regarding legal ability and adherence to ethical standards, professional reliability and diligence. Mr. Recile graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts and earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law Trial Advocacy at Tulane University School of Law. Mr. Recile is a former member of the House of Delegates of the Louisiana State Bar Association and a former chairman of the House of Delegates liaison committee to the Board of Governors of the Louisiana State Bar Association.

Brian's primary work is helping privately-owned businesses avoid and, if necessary, defend against employment practices violations and lawsuits, and protect the competitive edge those businesses have gained through hard work and sacrifice. Brian handles the whole spectrum of employment and trade secret law: employment agreements, non-compete agreements, trade secret protection, employment policies, employee handbooks, executive compensation, employee recruiting and job placement, employee counseling, negotiation of severance agreements, non-litigated resolution of employment disputes, and trials and appeals of employment and trade secret disputes. Brian also handles disputes involving business transactions, business ownership, personal injury, construction (particularly mechanic's liens, lien enforcement, and general contractor and subcontractor issues), and environmental matters. In past practice, Brian represented amateur (high school and college age) and professional athletes in negotiating and enforcing player and endorsement contracts and has more recently pursued agent malpractice and professional liability claims for negligently negotiated agreements that damaged professional athletes and their earning potential. Brian has also assisted a number of professional athletes in creating and operating charitable foundations and non-profit organizations.

I have practiced civil litigation throughout my legal career. While in law school, I obtained a limited legal license to work as an intern at a prestigious law firm representing the rights of individuals who suffered severe work injuries. Following law school, I practiced in small and large defense-oriented law firms representing individuals, doctors, nurses, healthcare facilities, trucking companies, insurance companies, and other diverse businesses. I formed Reed Law, PLLC to focus on representing victims who have suffered severe injuries caused by third party negligence, individuals needing assistance with family law matters, and businesses involved in a variety of legal disputes.
