Alla Roytberg Esq. is a lawyer, mediator and frequent lecturer with over 25 years of professional experience. After graduating from Fordham University School of Law in 1991 and practicing law at two law firms for five years, Ms. Roytberg started The Law Firm and Mediation Practice of Alla Roytberg in 1996. Currently, the firm has two offices located in Manhattan and in Forest Hills, Queens. Ms. Roytberg’s practice focuses on all aspects of family and matrimonial law, including litigation, mediation, collaborative divorce and work on prenuptial and marital agreements. Her areas of concentration also include general mediation, residential real estate representation and ancillary general practice. Ms. Roytberg is fluent in the Russian language and frequently addresses the legal needs of the Russian Community in New York. Mark A. Rubal is the senior litigation partner at Waldron & Schneider. Mr. Rubal is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in criminal law and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and graduated in May of 1982 from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a B.S. degree in Administration and Management Science and Economics. Mr. Rubal received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Houston-Law Center in December of 1989. He is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and has litigated cases in several federal jurisdictions both at the district court and appellate levels in Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Ohio. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Rubal worked as a prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney’s office for approximately four years. Mr. Rubal has extensive experience in general litigation areas, including criminal defense, personal injury claims, insurance defense, commercial and contract disputes, organizational and contractual matters, and consumer and employment law, among numerous other areas of general litigation.

Mr. Ruben provides family law representation, mediation, and private judging in San Francisco, San Mateo, Marin, Alameda, Contra Costa and Marin Counties. Steve’s practice is devoted to complex family law litigation including high net worth divorce cases, financial issues, spousal and child support, high conflict custody disputes, and dissolution, including non-marital and domestic partnerships. Steve is a Certified Family Law Specialist through the California Board of Legal Specialization and is also a member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists. San Francisco magazine has singled out Steve as a San Francisco Super Lawyer in the area of family law. Steve has been practicing law for over thirty years, with an impressive record of results in highly contested cases. He is especially sought after for his ability to effectively and quickly turn around cases that have languished because of passive or poor representation. Steve is a member of the Editorial Board of Lexis/Nexis California Family Law Monthly Journal and writes bi-monthly case analysis and practice pointers for family law practitioners. Steve is a frequent lecturer on continuing education programs for the Family Law Section of the State Bar of California and the Bar Association of California covering topics such child custody disputes, move-aways, child and spousal support modification and termination and the impact of bankrupt proceedings in a pending dissolution of marriage. Steve graduated with honors from Bethany College, West Virginia and Illinois Institute of Technology – Chicago Kent College of Law. Steve is a member of the State Bar of Illinois (1973) United States Supreme Court (1981) and State Bar of California (admitted 1992).
