She concentrates her practice in the areas of family law, including divorce and custody matters, and residential real estate transactions. Ms. Pirtle graduated cum laude from Northern Illinois College of Law. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Northern Illinois University. During law school, Ms. Pirtle was active in the Dooley Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, serving as the vice justice during her second year. Ms. Pirtle was also active in the Women's Law Caucus and the Public Interest Law Society. Since graduating Ms. Pirtle remains active in her local bar associations. She is a member of the Kane County Bar Association, McHenry County Bar Association, and Illinois State Bar Association.

Additionally since 2018, Georgia Super Lawyers named her to the Top 100 Attorneys and to the Top 50 Women Attorneys for the State of Georgia. Previously, Ms. Platt was an honoree on the Georgia Rising Star list in the field of family law from 2010-2013, voted by her peers as one of the best young lawyers in the state. She has also been recognized as one of Georgia’s Legal Elite in 2009, 2012, 2016, 2018 and 2019 in the area of family law by Georgia Trend magazine. Ms. Platt also currently holds a “Superb” rating on avvo.com. Ms. Platt graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2000, and obtained her Juris Doctor at the University of Colorado, School of Law, in 2004. She became a member of the Georgia Bar in 2004. Ms. Platt is an active member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (Foundation President 2010 – 2011) and the Atlanta Bar Association. Ms. Platt has been practicing law for the last 18 years and is currently concentrates her legal practice in the areas of family law and special education law, and as outlined below, she frequently lectures on both topics.

Mr. Poe has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in both Virginia and Washington D.C. in 2016-2019, one of the “10 Best” Attorneys for Family Law in 2016-2017 by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys, chosen as one of the 2017 Top 10 Family Law Attorneys by the American Jurist Institute, and selected as one of the Top 10 Family Law Attorneys Under 40 in 2016 by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys. Katie M. Poleon is a founding partner of Feron Poleon, LLP, and previously was a senior associate attorney with the law firm of Spadafora & Verrastro. She concentrates her practice in Matrimonial and Family law. Katie is a graduate of Canisius College (B.A.) and the University at Buffalo School of Law (J.D.). Initially admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, Katie spent nearly five (5) years practicing in the area of complex civil litigation at a large multinational law firm in Chicago. Since relocating back to the Buffalo area with her family, Katie has practiced in the area of Matrimonial and Family law at the trial and appellate levels. Admitted to the New York bar in 2011, she is a member of the New York and Erie County Bar Association.

Jonathan K. Pollack has been a partner at Beldock Levine & Hoffman LLP since 2002. His practice areas are domestic relations, estate planning, entertainment law and taxation. He has represented clients in these areas of practice in negotiated, contested and uncontested matters in Supreme, Family, Appellate, and Surrogate’s Courts, and before the Internal Revenue Service. He has done so for a period of 30-plus years in many of these practice areas, with a particular focus on business, estate and tax planning matters since obtaining his L.L.M. in Taxation Law in 2014. In his representation of clients in these diverse practice areas, Jonathan provides attentive and caring representation, as well as strong advocacy and negotiation skills, which combine to achieve favorable outcomes. He has extensive experience in all aspects of conflict resolution, including not just litigation services, but also alternative dispute resolution utilizing such methodologies as mediation, arbitration and collaborative law.
