As an attorney in private practice, I have advocated for clients and their families in Family Court, and in Supreme Court. I have experience in all aspects of litigation involving matrimonial law and family law, including equitable distribution of assets, custody, child support, spousal support, mothers’ rights, fathers’ rights, adoption, domestic violence, and all related family law issues. I have also been a Law Guardian representing children in custody, juvenile delinquency, PINS, and in child abuse and neglect circumstances. Additionally, I have recently served as staff attorney for the New York State Office of Children and Family Services reviewing applications for the appeal of indicated reports of child abuse and maltreatment. I served as a Principal Court Attorney for a Family Court Judge and Acting Supreme Court Justice for ten years. This decade of Court Attorney experience has enabled me to understand the family law legal process from the important perspectives of judges and the court system itself. Meagan K. Moodie is a prominent family law attorney and founding partner of Gebhardt Emerson Moodie Bonanno, LLC ("GEM Family Law"). She now lives in Denver with her husband, their son, and their rescue pups. Ben Moore has devoted his legal career to protecting the physical safety and financial security of his clients and their families. Ms. Morales is a homegrown resident of Southern Maryland, who graduated from Hood College with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Lincoln Memorial University- Duncan School of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee. During law school, Ms. Morales focused her time on gaining real experience and trial practice, specifically by working for the Honorable Shayne Sexton, extending in the Jefferson County Public Defender’s Office, examining case law as a Legal Research Assistant, and leading the Mock Trial Team. After law school, Ms. Morales returned to Maryland and began a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Joseph M. Stanalonis in St. Mary’s County Circuit Court. She later went on to also clerk for the Honorable H. James West in Charles County Circuit Court. Ms. Morales is a Member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Charles County Bar Association, Prince George’s County Bar Association, Calvert County Bar Association, and St. Mary’s Bar Association. Additionally, Ms. Morales is a Court-Appointed Child Best Interest Attorney and Child Privilege Attorney in Calvert County, Prince George’s County, and St. Mary’s County. Ms. Morales is currently admitted in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. District Court of Maryland. She is also fluent in Spanish.

Ms. Morgan's undergraduate studies were completed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in Spanish and International Studies, with a concentration in Latin America Anthropology. Ms. Morgan received her Juris Doctor from the Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. Ms. Morgan is a graduate of the Furman University Diversity Leadership Institute. Ms. Morgan has been the head of the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce Hispanic Development Committee, a member of Greenville Technical College’s Northwest Campus Advisory Board, a member of the Greenville County Human Relations Commissions Board, a member of the Hispanic Alliance legal committee, Upstate Global Professional Committee for the International Center, a member of Greenville Womens Giving and other community and charity organizations. Ms. Morgan is also the Chairman of the Board for Hispanic Alliance and a Board Member for the Upstate Fatherhood Coalition.
