Amanda Roberts was born and raised in Northern Michigan, where Amanda’s family continues to live. Her parents own and operate their family owned business Robert’s Restaurant (which has been continually family owned for forty (40) years) in Boyne City, Michigan. After graduating from Boyne City High School, Amanda relocated to Hillsdale, Michigan, to attend college. Amanda received her undergraduate degree from Hillsdale College, where she majored in political science. While attending Hillsdale College, she participated in many community activities including creating community Christmas baskets, volunteering with Michigan Youth in Government and the Salvation Army, International Club, and many civic minded organizations. Upon graduating from Hillsdale College, Amanda began attending Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Throughout her time at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, she participated in many activities including: moot court, moot court judging, mock trial, Phi Alpha Delta, Lansing Teen Court, community Christmas baskets, and volunteering with the Salvation Army.
