Sarah combines her passion for the law with compassion for clients. Sarah never saw the inside of a courtroom until after her first year of law school. This experience helps her understand and assist clients who are unfamiliar with legal procedure in a way that is more accessible and relatable. Sarah has successfully settled numerous divorce cases, resulting in a disproportionate property division in favor of her client. She has experience working with many local experts to value businesses and property, including in depth review of expert reports in order to negotiate and litigate high net worth and large asset property division cases. Sarah helps her clients concentrate on post litigation outcomes to determine priorities and a course of action that is specific to the client and his or her needs. With a focus on divorce, child custody, child support, enforcement, and modification of custody or support, Sarah has honed skills to walk clients through the family law system. She also offers effective and efficient mediation services.

Linda Rosenthal has extensive experience in all aspects of family and matrimonial law, including divorce, equitable distribution, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, child support and custody, and post-divorce judgment disputes. Among other matters, Ms. Rosenthal has handled: highly-contested emergency custody applications; complex litigation and pre-nuptial disputes involving international law issues; and significant high-conflict equitable distribution cases. Ms. Rosenthal is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer. She appears regularly in New York courts and has argued in numerous Federal district and appellate courts, and state Supreme Courts throughout the country. Ms. Rosenthal recently secured interim leave to appeal from the Family Court in New York County and subsequently won a successful 5-0 decision from the Appellate Division for the First Judicial Department. Ms. Rosenthal graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law. Before focusing her practice exclusively in matrimonial and family law, she was a constitutional litigator at the Center for Reproductive Rights and a complex civil litigator at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe. She has appeared on television and given numerous press interviews. Ms. Rosenthal is admitted to practice in New York State and is a member of the bars of the U.S. Supreme Court, the appellate courts for the Second, Fifth and Seventh Circuits, and numerous federal district courts.

Mrs. Rotmanskiy received her undergraduate degree from University of California Santa Barbara and Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of West Los Angeles. Mrs. Rotmanskiy was admitted to practice law in California in 2021. Mrs. Rotmanskiy is a Family law attorney that advocates for Domestic Violence Survivors and represents clients in restraining orders and custody proceedings.

Janice Roven has been practicing law for over 35 years. Matrimonial and divorce clients take comfort knowing that she was involved in her own custody battle, which provided her with insight into the client’s perspective in a separation and custody struggle. Her post-custody reflection on the turmoil, the hostilities, the negotiations and the resolutions that arise in the divorce process make her uniquely qualified to meet her clients’ needs, both in and out of the courtroom. In her insurance defense practice, Janice has represented physicians and hospitals in personal injury and medical malpractice cases. She has represented and sued pharmaceutical companies in pharmaceutical products liability cases. Janice has represented insurance companies, national accounts and third-Party administrators in general liability matters. Janice has written wills and prepared trusts for clients who seek to determine precisely how their assets will be distributed and their legacy continued when they no longer can speak for themselves. Janice has appeared on NBC News and has published many articles in legal trade journals and various other publications. Janice is one of the few women lawyers in New York State with a Master’s Degree in Litigation, which she obtained at Emory University School of Law. She previously earned her law degree from Emory and completed the National Institute of Trial Advocacy Program. Janice is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey and Georgia, as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States. She graduated with Honors in Political Science from Barnard College, Columbia University.
