Jonathan K. Pollack has been a partner at Beldock Levine & Hoffman LLP since 2002. His practice areas are domestic relations, estate planning, entertainment law and taxation. He has represented clients in these areas of practice in negotiated, contested and uncontested matters in Supreme, Family, Appellate, and Surrogate’s Courts, and before the Internal Revenue Service. He has done so for a period of 30-plus years in many of these practice areas, with a particular focus on business, estate and tax planning matters since obtaining his L.L.M. in Taxation Law in 2014. I was born in Victoria, TX and subsequently moved to Baton Rouge, LA. I graduated from Istrouma High in 1977 and went straight to work. At the age of 27, I married my husband, John. When I was 34 I had the opportunity of going to college for the first time. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1998 and then started at LSU Law School, graduating in 2001. Thereafter I passed the Louisiana State Bar Exam and have been practicing as a solo practitioner ever since, handling mostly family law, juvenile, and criminal matters. In 2004, I adopted my two sons, who are both now Eagle Scouts.

Laurie Poppe attended Rutgers University where she obtained dual degrees: a Master’s in Social Work and a Doctorate in Law. As a result of these dual, professional degrees, she passionately adheres to her therapeutic training. Laurie Poppe served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Ann R. Bartlett in 2005. She also clerked for the Honorable Thomas H. Dilts, P.J.F.P and the Honorable Julie M. Marino that same year. She is a member of the American, New Jersey and Somerset County Bar Associations, and a member of the Family Law Section of each association.
