Ms. Chavez earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1998 from Northwestern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University in 1995. She was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1998 and is admitted in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, the Federal Trial Bar and the Federal Court of Claims. Ms. Chavez has also been admitted pro hac vice in numerous cases nationwide. She has extensive litigation experience in multi-district litigation (“MDL”), federal and state civil litigation, class action litigation, arbitrations (including class and multi-plaintiff) and litigation before administrative tribunals, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Ms. Chavez is an accomplished trial attorney who has extensive experience in all aspects of complex civil litigation including such tasks as: case investigation, pleadings, discovery, e-discovery, document review, motion practice, trial (including class action), appeals and mediation/settlements. Her practice is focused on complex civil cases (including class, multi-plaintiff, mass tort and individual) involving competition, consumer fraud, unfair trade practices, environmental, technology, trademark, qui tam, civil rights, breach of contract, Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (“RICO”), employment, wage and hour, insurance and other state and federal statutory and common law claims.

Rosaly is the president and attorney at Chaviano Law Firm, P.A. She represents clients in the areas of business and family immigration law, removal proceedings, consular processing, and naturalization. Rosaly was born in Santa Clara, Cuba. She came to the United States through the diversity visa lottery. Rosaly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Florida International University (magna cum laude). Rosaly earned her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law, where she received the Faculty Recognition Award, the Excellence in Service to the Carlos A. Costa Immigration and Human Rights Clinic Award, and the Pro Bono Service Award. While at Florida International University College of Law, Rosaly interned for Catholic Legal Services and Carlos A. Costa Immigration and Human Rights Clinic, where she represented detained and non-detained clients in immigration court proceedings, conducted research, and drafted briefs and motions. Rosaly also interned for the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA) at the Krome Detention Center, where she assisted the trial attorneys during master and individual hearings, conducted research, and drafted motions. Rosaly has worked as an immigration attorney for more than 7 years. She worked as an associate attorney for Fonte Friz-Garcia Immigration for more than 3 years, where she represented clients in the areas of business and family immigration. Rosaly is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), where she is serving as a board member, Chair of the CBP-Border Patrol Committee, Chair of the Luncheons Committee, and Vice-Chair of the New Member Division Committee. Brittany is a Lake Charles, LA native, where she graduated from LaGrange Senior High School in 2006. She then obtained her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts in 2009 from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA. Brittany continued her education in Baton Rouge, LA, where she studied at Southern University Law Center. She obtained her Juris Doctor in 2012 and became a licensed attorney in the state of Louisiana in October of 2012. With a heart for her community, Brittany moved back to her hometown where she became a law clerk at the Fourteenth Judicial District Court from 2012-2014. After her clerkship, Brittany became an Assistant District Attorney for Calcasieu Parish in March 2014. During her five-year tenure, Brittany worked in the following divisions: misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony, prosecuting major cases such as felony thefts, drug cases, burglaries, and homicides. It is Brittany’s desire to be a helping hand to her community, and her life motto is to enable others to reach their full potential even if it means being their voice. Since childhood, she has been a devoted member of United Christian Fellowship Church. Her heart beats for youth, which she attributes to her parents, who are both active in the local community. As a true family woman, her goal is to treat her clients as if they were own family. Brittany is the proud wife of Bryant Chavis Sr. also a native of Lake Charles, LA. The two recently welcomed their first child into the world, Bryant Jr., in June 2019. Brittany is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, leaders in being of service to all mankind. In her local chapter, she is dedicated to community service projects and promoting education to youth.
