Guy J. Notte attended John Marshall Law School (Chicago, Illinois, 1964-1966) After relocating to Atlanta he began practicing law in May, 1968. Mr. Notte attained the rank of Captain in the United States Army in U.S. Army Intelligence. After leaving the service in December 1969, he began actively practicing criminal defense and personal injury law in Atlanta. Mr. Notte taught at the then Massey Law College in Atlanta in 1970 and actually was Dean of this school for two years. In 1978, the judges of the DeKalb-Rockdale Circuit appointed Mr. Notte the Public Defender of Rockdale County. He represented defendants charged with crimes ranging from DUI’s to the Death Penalty. Mr. Notte has defended those accused of crimes in many states both in Federal and States Courts. In 1974, Mr. Notte appeared before and was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He is also admitted to practice in all the Federal District Courts in Georgia as well as the Federal District Court of Columbia, South Carolina. His practice has included the defense of people from Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and from New York to Florida.

Daniel B. Nottes is a results-oriented, innovative, creative thinker who works closely with his clients to successfully negotiate, and if necessary litigate, cases from inception through trial and appeal. Mr. Nottes’ cases have garnered national and international media attention and have involved landmark issues and matters of first impression, such as the successful distribution of frozen embryos to his client as part of an equitable distribution/marital property award after trial, considerably large support awards, including a permanent maintenance award following a multi-week trial, and the striking of pleadings resulting from illegal iPhone hacking and spoliation of evidence – the first case of its kind ever litigated worldwide – which was recently affirmed on appeal with costs (see Appellate Division Decision here). Prior to forming his boutique law firm to service his broad client base, Mr. Nottes was a Partner and the Practice Chair of the Matrimonial and Family Law Department at a commercial law firm. Previously, Mr. Nottes was a name partner at Felder, Felder and Nottes, P.C. (formerly Raoul Felder and Partners, P.C.), a renowned law firm concentrating in Matrimonial and Family Law. During law school, Mr. Nottes had the privilege of serving as a judicial intern to the Honorable Arthur D. Spatt, Senior United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Nottes is admitted to practice in the State of New York.

Mr. Novak is the founding partner of our firm. He was born on the great Canadian prairies in the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba. After a distinguished educational career at the University of Manitoba, he attended the University of North Dakota School of Law. He was named on the academic dean’s list for his entire six semesters of law school, and was awarded the degree of Juris Doctor With Distinction. Following graduation from law school, he hung up his hockey skates and moved to the gentler climate of California. Since 1998 Mr. Novak has based his practice of law in the Southern California area. During this time period he successfully protected clients from exposure to multi-million dollar claims for damages.
