David Goetz is a graduate of Syracuse University, magna cum laude, class of 1988. He earned his law degree from Temple University, in 1993, and was an editor for the Temple Law Review from 1991-1993. He went on to earn his Masters of Laws (LL.M) with honors from the University of Miami in 1998. David Goetz has been a partner at the Law Offices of Marder, Gonzalez & Goetz since the year 2000. Prior to joining the law firm, he practiced with Deloitte & Touche LLP specializing in international tax matters. He represents our clients at hundreds of hearings every year before the Social Security Administration’s Offices of Disability Adjudication and Review. David is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts (Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and in Puerto Rico). David donates his personal time and professional resources to further patients’ and claimants’ rights in his membership with the Scleroderma Association of South Florida. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, David is also an active member of the professional community and is involved in several state and national associations; including the Florida Bar Association, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives (frequently referred to by its acronym N.O.S.S.C.R.), and the American Trial Lawyers Association.

She has helped non-profit organizations pursue justice and assisted large companies injured by their competitors' false advertising practices. In all her work, Ms. Golan's mission has been the same: to keep companies honest. To give purchasers truthful information so they can make informed decisions about the software they use, the schools they enroll, and the products they eat, lather onto their skin, or spray into their air. To support companies that do the right thing, and to stand up to companies that won't. Ms. Golan is often credited for pioneering the wave of class actions alleging products are falsely labeled as "natural" or "organic." She investigated, wrote, and filed the original class actions against Kashi and Naked Juice – the suits that first relied on regulatory classifications of food ingredients and challenged products for GMO content. Since then, Ms. Golan has litigated actions against other product companies that falsely advertise their products to be hypoallergenic, phone carriers who violate federal laws prohibiting robocalls, computer software companies violating federal laws and breaching contracts that promise data privacy and security, and others. ? Ms. Golan also counsels companies seeking honesty in their business practices, helping ensure that their products, services, and marketing do not run afoul of state and federal law. Ms. Golan received her law degree from Cornell Law School, magna cum laude, and her bachelors degree from the University of Texas at Austin, summa cum laude. She then served as a law clerk to Judge J. Clifford Wallace of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Before founding The Golan Firm, Ms. Golan was a litigation associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, an international law firm that is consistently ranked as one of the top-five litigation firms in the country.
