Area of Practice: Complex Civil and Commercial Litigation Anna Avrasin Higgins is a co-founder of Linton Robinson & Higgins. She is admitted to practice law in both New York and Florida and works out of our New York and Miami offices. Attorney Higgins is an experienced and tenacious litigator who is committed to providing high quality legal representation to all her clients. She specializes in prosecuting and defending complex civil and commercial litigation cases and concentrates her practice on cases involving: Construction Litigation, Construction Accidents, Construction Defect, Business Litigation, Labor Law, Employment Discrimination, Premises, Property and Security Liability, Professional Liability, Environmental and Toxic Tort, General Liability, Insurance Coverage Litigation, Medical Malpractice and Products Liability. Attorney Higgins has tried over 100 cases in her career and amassed innumerable favorable verdicts for her clients. She graduated with a law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law and received an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Russian from Florida State University. Attorney Higgins has tried cases in the State of New York and Florida at both the State and Federal levels. Attorney Higgins immigrated to the United States from the Ukraine and speaks Russian fluently.

Born and raised in Lakeland, Florida Mr. Hightower attended Samford University, Cumberland School of Law in Alabama where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 1983. During his time at Cumberland School of Law, he was also elected Florida Student Body President. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Hightower went on to take the Florida State Bar which he also passed in 1983. After working for an insurance defense firm for many years, Mr. Hightower opened up his very own law firm which quickly grew and led him to open many offices throughout the state of Florida. Mr. Hightower was elected to the Board of Directors of the Dade County Bar Association as well as the Florida Bar’s Public Relations Director. In addition to being recognized by Lawyers of Distinction for excellence in the practice of law, Mr. Hightower was also named as one of The Best Lawyers in America, “Top Lawyer” by the Florida Legal Guide, a Super Lawyer, Litigation Council of America Senior Fellow and has had an “AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 1993. With more than 200 jury trials across the state of Florida, Mr. Hightower has maintained an 80% success rate.

Area of Practice: Securities Litigation and Arbitration Mr. Hilbert is a member of the Bar in Colorado, Wisconsin and Arizona. Mr. Hilbert has also tried cases across the country in many other jurisdictions including twenty states, and is admitted in many US District Courts, The Supreme Court of the United States, The United States Tax Court, and The United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Ninth and Tenth Circuits. Mr. Hilbert has arbitrated for FINRA, CBOE (Chicago Board Options Exchange), NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation) and the National Futures Association. He has significant first-chair trial and appellate experience.

Mr. Hill’s practice areas include: criminal law and civil law. He received his B.A. from Denison University and then went on to receive his J.D. from Ohio Northern University College of Law. Mr. Hill is admitted to practice in the following jurisdictions: Ohio Bar; United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio; and United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio. In addition to his Lawyers of Distinction membership, Mr. Hill’s other professional associations incluce: Muskingum County Bar Association; Ohio State Bar Association; and the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Justin was born and raised in the small town of Burkburnett, Texas. Justin’s mother was a school teacher and his father a high school football coach. After graduating from Burkburnett High School, he received his B.B.A. in Management magna cum laude from Texas A&M University. While at Texas A&M, Justin was awarded multiple academic scholarships and awards. He was active in student organizations, including serving as a Fish Camp Counselor and an opinion columnist for the Texas A&M student newspaper, The Battalion. After graduating from Texas A&M University, Justin attended Baylor Law School on an academic scholarship. Justin graduated from Baylor Law School cum laude. At Baylor Law School, Justin was elected by his peers to serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the Baylor Law Review for a one year term.
