Gary C. Angiuli is both a founder and the Managing Partner of Angiuli & Gentile, LLP, Attorneys at Law. In addition, he serves as the Supervising Partner of the firm's Business, Franchise, and Real Estate practice groups. A seasoned advisor to entrepreneurs, Mr. Angiuli is experienced in the purchase and sale of franchises, automobile dealerships, and small to midsized businesses and can provide comprehensive legal analysis at all stages of a transaction. His extensive experience and skill set in business formations/corporate structures, acquisitions, negotiations, contract drafting/review, shareholder/partnership agreements, commercial litigation, real estate transactions and drafting/review of complex commercial leases make him uniquely qualified to assist with just about any business transaction, large or small. Mr. Angiuli is also proficient in writing, registering and reviewing Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) for all types of franchised businesses and has advised both franchisors and franchisees in almost every legal aspect of their franchise ventures. He has experience with both start-up ventures and mature franchises and he has advised companies of up to 250 units. As a member of the Richmond County Bar Association, he has served on the Judiciary Committee and the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and has served on the Board of Directors for the New York Workers' Compensation Bar Association. Mr. Angiuli has lectured on the subjects of franchising, commercial leasing, and workers' compensation. Mr. Angiuli is actively involved in the Staten Island Economic Development Corp., where he currently serves on the Board of Directors and various committees. He is a member of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce where he has served on the Board of Directors. Additionally, he currently serves on both the Finance and Executive Committees at the Staten Island Jewish Community Center (JCC). Through the years, Mr. Angiuli's extensive community involvement has included positions on the Board of Directors and/or Advisory Boards of the Saint George Theatre, Luzerne Music Center, Meals on Wheels of Staten Island, the Staten Island YMCA. Additionally, he has served as both Vice President and Board Member at the College of Staten Island Foundation. Mr. Angiuli received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 1993 from The American University, Washington College of Law and his Bachelor's Degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook (B.A. 1980). He was admitted to practice law to the New York Bar in 1984 and is admitted to practice law before the New York State Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York (1985), and the United States Supreme Court (1988).

Ms. Annunziato joined Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP in 2010 as Special Counsel and became Partner in 2011. She focuses her practice on the defense of professional liability cases and health care law matters. Laurie handles the defense of physicians and hospitals from inception through trial. She has also successfully represented health care professionals in professional disciplinary proceedings. Laurie is a member of the firm’s Continuing Legal Education Committee and has published articles in MD News. Laurie has also been a guest speaker at several outside seminars involving topics related to nursing care and support, interdisciplinary support in hospital settings, and Electronic Medical Records. As a result of her broad practice and extensive litigation experience, Laurie is able to understand the issues from all viewpoints, and manages her cases to a successful conclusion. She has tried several complicated and high exposure cases successfully, and is endlessly committed to meeting each client’s individual needs. Prior to joining the firm, Laurie was a Trial Attorney with Benvenuto, Arciero & McAndrew and an Assistant District Attorney with the Bronx County District Attorney’s office. As an ADA, Laurie successfully tried several more felony criminal cases. Her extensive experience as a former prosecutor and being an advocate for victims of crimes, including children has transcended into her civil practice. Laurie tirelessly strives to focus and resolve the critical and sensitive issues important to her clients.

Area of Practice: Regulatory Compliance & Banking Law Tanweer Ansari is EVP, Chief Risk Officer and General Counsel of The First National Bank of Long Island. Tan works with the Board of Directors, Management and all staff to ensure the Bank continues meet all legal and regulatory requirements while mitigating areas of risk concurrent with the Bank’s strategic plan. Tan received his J.D. from Hofstra University. his MBA from Adelphi University and received his Bachelor's from Union College. Tan also attended the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at The Wharton School. Tan serves on the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association Business Law Section and as President of the Long Island Banks Compliance Association. He also is a member of the American Bankers Association Risk & Compliance Board. a former Community Education Councilmember, taught financial literacy via the ABA Teach Children to Save Program and Junior Achievement, and served on the Adelphi University Business School Advisory Board.

Andrew Anselmi, a partner and co-founder of the firm, is a trial lawyer with a focus on high-stakes, complex commercial litigation. Andrew is known for his ability to develop winning strategies working collaboratively with his clients to determine the most effective advocacy tactics, which may include alternative dispute resolution when litigation may not be the best solution. He also handles appellate matters in both state and federal courts. Andrew’s litigation practice includes extensive experience in shareholder and partnership disputes, and he has successfully represented corporations and individuals in partnership disputes, oppressed minority shareholder claims, and matters involving restrictive covenants. In the area of environmental litigation, Andrew helps clients navigate the complexities of environmental laws and regulations, providing trial and compliance counsel to Fortune 500, national, regional, and local companies. In addition, Andrew represents national and international companies in construction, tort, product liability and class actions, often being called upon to argue the law of other jurisdictions. Andrew works tirelessly on behalf of his clients and his community to provide exceptional counsel and service. He immerses himself in each matter and becomes an important ally to his clients and a passionate advocate for protecting their businesses. Outside of his legal practice, Andrew extends his advocacy and leadership to a wide range of civic affairs, including his current positions as the Chair of the Board of Regents at Delbarton School and Vice Chair of the National Catholic Community Foundation. In 2017, Pope Francis bestowed upon him the title of Knight of the Pontifical Equestrian Order of St. Gregory the Great.
